"We really enjoyed the flat. Enjoyed the inner courtyard and having it on the ground floor. Very close to parking. Making dinners at home is always enjoyable and then walking on the wall to gelato is a highlight. The air con in the bedrooms was great! And having a bathroom on each level is rare. "We enjoyed the location of the apartment, very close (4 minute walk) to the center of Lucca. Building is gorgeous and grand. Apartment has an elevator. We would definitely repeat."

"The unit was clean and spacious. Central location in the historical district. Near bus. stops and the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The only complaints that we have is that the bathroom sink drain was very slow and it took about 3 days and a few reminders to fix it. That was very inconvenient. Also, no hand towels or dish towels. The first few days the towels were locked up too."

"Italo, Etta, and Vera are the ultimate hosts; they provided great input to questions we had before arrival and during our stay. They shared their own wine and olives with us, provided fresh herbs from their garden for our dinner and welcomed us into their family. At the same time they provided privacy and let us enjoy the pool and house. A great place to stay and explore Tuscany."

"We loved this apartment and Lucca itself. We rented bikes twice and rode around the wall, climbed the Guinigi tower, and visited the cathedral, and this apartment was convenient to it all. We had a few rainy days and the apartment heating system worked great. Gianluca was a great host and helped with getting us parking outside the walls (ZTL), as well as being very responsive to our requests. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Lucca.
