"We only had about 14 hours there and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a grand old hotel that has been well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very elaborate and had made to order omelets with many pastries."

"Great location. Lively vibe in the evenings with music we enjoyed under the hotel at Roo bar, which closes at 9pm so quiet after. Very clean and spacious. Very convenient with super market around the corner. Loved all the local wood furnishings. Hauser restaurant was very good, enjoyed the hot stone dinner, cooking meats at the the table. Only things missing were cofee maker, fridge, a fan & air control. Its a good thing i travel with a travel fan which was a lifesaver. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the vibe."

"The location is perfect, walking distance to Ski Lift and downtown, as well as hiking paths. The hotel has agreement with Ovaverva, a complex with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, water slides, Gym and spa. This is perfect to relax after a day of skiing or hiking. The staff is incredibly polite and professional. They make you feel like a royal guest. Staff members are from many different nationalities, and they all speak many languages. This makes the ambient very interesting, warming and welcoming. The so many options for dining are all fantastic. The bar is great. The Lobby has ample space with all kind of seating options from high-desk for laptops to coffee/tea chairs to cozy sofas. Our favorite spot was the sofa near the fireplace which gives a nice warm look and wood aroma to the entire area. The breakfast, included in room rates, is superb, with so many options for all tastes, from cereals, yogurts, and fruits, to fresh or grilled vegetables, wide selection of cheese and cold meats, different types of breads to an omelette station! Great juices and two espresso machines with perfect coffee of any type of preparation. Housekeeping staff, all international and multilingual, are super polite and quite fast. Before you know, your room is all cleaned and done! We stayed in room 461, a great corner room with awesome views. Our kids stayed at room 150, very spacious and nice balcony. We had a lovely stay and would return any time. It could not have been better."

"The property is in a beautiful location! Great views of the lake and St Moritz town. Close to the train station- easy walk. Close to the main area of town as well. Breakfast is excellent, dining room has beautiful views of the whole area. Beds are excellent! Best night sleep on our trip in these beds! "

"Front desk staff were extremely courteous, provided us with a map and some ideas for shopping and dining nearby (though prepare yourself for the price of dining out in Switzerland generally). During my family’s 2 week European trip, Central Hotel Post had the most comfy beds of our entire vacation, and the strongest water pressure of any shower I have ever seen (always a pleasant surprise, in my book). Our 3 rooms were spacious and very clean, we had windows that opened up to the square below, and some of the beautiful mountains surrounding, and there was an elevator/lift; we rented a car and there seemed to be no on-site parking for the hotel but we found a parking garage close by that was free on Sundays (hotel staff also gave us other options). Chur is a bit of a sleepy town so very quiet and walkable. We had a short stay and breakfast was pretty good for that period, not overwhelming variety but enjoyable nonetheless. We stayed here for an overnight before catching the Bernina Express the next morning and it is a very short distance to the train station (and the Europcar rent-a-car next door). I’d be happy to recommend this hotel to family and friends who hope to do something similar in future."
