What I will say about the Royalty Copacabana is that the staff was very nice to me. I also like the location. I happened to get a room overlooking the mountain which was gorgeous. Additionally, the continental breakfast was generous. What I did not like was that there were roaches (and not the tropical roaches that cannot be avoided). Additionally, the Wi-Fi was almost inoperable which was scary because I had work to do. Additionally, the room finishes are quite outdated, with limited sockets and no usb ports. The fitness center was not accessible during my stay.

Hotel entrance was nice but once we got to the room it was dirty and filthy! There were 2 cockroaches but when we contacted the stuff they said it was normal. The shower were dirty and I didn’t want to step a foot inside we were scared of fungus and contagious deseases. They didn’t provided a charged due to the outlets are different, they refused a late check out, they charged us money to keep the luggage’s for a late pick up, overall an awful experience and I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Totally horrible from the beginning to the end. The room was bad smelling and badly cleaned. The toilet was not flushing and we had to live with this for 2 days. The staff was very ignorant and not serviceminded at all. Not resolving the toilet issue.The breakfast was very bad and the foid was cold.Charging extra for safe and early check in of 200rs. Cannot recommend this hotel for anyone.

Cockroaches ! Con’s- This is an awful property- don’t get conned by the facade or entrance ! Staff unhelpful - ask anything “ wait for manager who starts work at 09:00-can’t help you “ don’t care if your tour starts before , Holes in the wall 2ft hole exposed to out behind loud air conditioner, toilet -> You can hear others & inappropriate sounds coming thro as top ceiling of the toilet is a grill - not sure if others can actually see you !! Hear people all the time / plus bedroom wall paper thin- hear phones ringing next door !- Privacy ? No coffee in room or kettle Little or no proper charging unit in room They ring you incessantly 1/2 hour before check out time. Old building Probably ideal for 1 level above back packer hostel. Pros - Close to Beach Small pool on floor 14( not 13) 3 star breakfast only No - we wouldn’t stay here or recomend it

People at the front desk don’t care about the cuatomer, after a long flight I was ready to get some rest, Front desk don’t do nothing to help out with early check in, there were a lot of ppl waiting to check in, they told us to wait till 3pm, We waited, but by the time was 3pm there were 2 guests that arrive that time, and rhey get their rooms before all the people that were waiting for more than 2 hours. My room wasn’t ready because they’re “cleaning it “ when I get to the room bathroom dirty, I found other people hair in the sink, shower was leaking, glassdoor was with water, I stepped out next day, I came back to the room it wasn’t cleaned, I saw the lady on my floor, I went down to the lobby, almost 2 hours down there, I went up again, my room was still not cleaned, I called the front desk to get some towels, soap and shampoo, I told them not to clean anymore, I needed some rest.

Roaches everywhere! I never been in a hotel that had roaches crawling on the bed at night ! Crawling from the mirror and the backboard by the bed area ! It was extremely hard to sleep there knowing this was an issue. I stood there for two days and when me and my guest brought this up to the front desk clerk, they made an excuse talking about they are surrounded by trees! They gave us roach spray that was half way empty! They refused to get us some credit or to even have a person look into the problem. The pool look dirty , you could have barely see the bottom of it … the gym isn’t even working .. the equipment was broken! In all my hotel experiences this was far from the worst treatment I’ve experienced… and if you book here just be ready to sleep with roaches crawling in your luggages.

Deveria se chamar Horror Hotel
Pior experiência de hospedagem que já tive na vida. O quarto tem cheiro de mofo, a cama era desconfortável, a roupa de cama de um tecido horrível, o chuveiro é péssimo, no primeiro dia não conseguia abrir o registro da água fria, do segundo dia em diante não tinha água quente. A internet não funcionou um dia sequer. O café da manhã praticamente não tinha reposição. E pra fechar com chave de pavor, no penúltimo dia da minha reserva, toda a água do meu banho voltou pelo ralo de fora do box e inundou o quarto todo. A solução do hotel foi me trocar de quarto? Claro que não. A solução foi secar água podre que voltou pelo ralo do esgoto, sequer passar um desinfetante e ainda tive que ouvir do funcionário da manutenção que 'resolvido, nada demais'. Só se coloque nessa situação se você se odiar muito e quiser se punir, por algum motivo. Pra não dizer que não tenho nada de bom a dizer, a recepcionista e a faxineira foram super simpáticas e a localização é ótima.

Bom esqueceram de por toalhas de banho no quarto , a TV e controle não funcionando a tela da tv com problema imagem dupla horrível não dava para distrair e nem mudar de canal café da manhã solicitei que fizerem um ovo frito e veio todo torturado , rejeitei o menino do atendimento no café da manhã muito simpático e educado e a moça da recepção também , havia uma peruana gritando no saguão feito louca e esotérica querendo quebrar tudo credo não entendi nada !!! A sorte que a cama estava bem arrumada e o frigobar bem funcional .
O ovo frito é diferente de torrado !!!
Não consegui comer mas o rapaz do restaurante muito educado pediu desculpas pelo fato .

Quando cheguei o quarto estava sujo quando anoiteceu apareceu tanta baratinhas que até em cima da cama elas andavam entraram dentro da minha mala não recomento esse hotel a ninguém além do café da manhã horrível suco tang de laranja e uva nem pão de queijo tinha pessimo café da manhã Além de horário entra no hotel às 15:00 e exige que saímos às 11:00 nunca vi esse horário de entrada

Tensão no fim do ano
Infelizmente o Hotel não suporta uma grande quantidade de hóspedes, ficamos dois dias sem café da manhã, um por não ter mais salsicha e outro por faltar pratos e talheres. Além disto, o quarto estava cheio de baratinhas, em um dos dias, fizeram a arrumação do quarto, porém não limparam o banheiro, nos deixaram sem toalha, fui obrigado pela recepção a descer do 11º andar para buscar toalhas da piscina e usar no quarto. E também na virada de ano o hotel estava todo cheio de sangue e até um dos elevadores parados por conta disto.

Não foi nada agradável. Só podia entrar às 15h e a saída é as 11h. As 10h da manhã a recepção já ligou pro quarto para dizer que precisava deixar o quarto as 11h. Banheiro terrível, chuveiro entupido, só tinha água quente. Ar que não refrigerava, cama ruim, elevador ruim. Café da manhã péssimo. Nunca mais volto nesse hotel
