Best Location, Brilliant Staff, Very Safe
Hostel is amazing - provided you are pretty chilled and roll with whatever is happening. Had a brilliant stay, it was the perfect location to explore the city and surrounds; but also for Carnival events. Rooms were comfortable (had air con @ night, but fans through the day) and were fairly quiet. Unfortunately I don't think the room is swept often and the bathrooms got dirty very quickly; likely from a couple of plumbing issues which meant the floor in bathroom usually wet. Wi-Fi was very hit and miss; but great when it was working. Staff were amazing; special shout out to Fred! They knew everyone's names, very friendly, most could speak English, always wanted to help. Felt very safe - there is police station over the road and Lapa seemed to be a hip, cool suburb. The hostel also often had front door locked and just rang doorbell no matter the time and staff would let you in (and only guests because they knew you). During carnival there were free dinners and breakfasts - always delicious and filling! As well as free caipirinhas for 2hrs to get people started on the night (again just for carnival). Great atmosphere; guests talked to each other and went out exploring/partying together. Really great stay

Bad experience
It was not a good experience. Room facilities are poor: adapted bathrooms and very small, dirty beds, mattress with scabies, sultry rooms, air conditioning during limited hours. Many beds in one room and without any security. The atmosphere of the hostel is good, staffs are awesome, the location very good, but the minimum comfort is zero.

Party hostel right in Lapa
We stayed over carnival so perhaps it's not usually a party hostel! We stayed in a private room with air conditioning, bathroom was modern and clean. The room only had a bed, no space for luggage. It was very noisy most nights, our window was onto a terrace where the party seemed to move to. I wouldn't stay again however it is a great place to party and meet new people! Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is good!

I didn't take advantage of any of the activities but I think the hostel offered special group/theme meals and bbq. Water and other beverages for sale. It was World Cup so there was a lot of partying going on in the main room and in the several restaurants/bars outside, but the upstairs/sleeping area was quiet. The women's dorm had a warm shower and toilet just for women. Bunks stacked 3 high. Nice sized kitchen, very basic breakfast. I'm not sure what the area is like at night when World Cup is not going on. Friendly, sweet rescue cat.

It's a good thing I have seen other hostels before I rate this one. Now I know why it's rated highly... Light for each bed n a place to charge your phone or laptop - check Big locker enough to fit your large backpackers bag - check Locker needs little more maintenance n it's close to your bed. You got to have your own lock. Wifi every corner of the place without any problem - check Friendly n multilingual customer service - check Location walking distance from laps where all actions take place in the weekends.

Great quality hostel
The staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Nice atmosphere, comfy beds & the bathroom was clean and spacious. Have already booked again for a few weeks time!

Hospedagem Ano Novo
O hostel é um lugar muito aconchegante e acolhedor, porém como estão em períodos de obra foge um pouco do descrito e das imagens na hora da reserva. Houve um pequeno problema em relação ao café da manhã mas os funcionários se moveram rapidamente e solucionaram. Não foi um ótimo café da manhã, sem opções de variedade, porém atendeu. O wifi não estava funcionando muito bem, porém os atendentes nos ajudaram e colocaram um outro que funcionava no quarto dos fundos, onde eu estava. O pessoal da recepção é muito acolhedor e prestativo, conheci o Frederic, muitíssimo simpático, outro rapaz que estava na manhã do meu check in, porém não lembro o nome (check in dia 29/12 - Período da manhã) e outro rapaz que ficou alguns dias durante a noite, também muito receptivo. O redor do hostel também é maravilhoso e pra quem busca uma noite agitada é perfeito, a região é repleta de barzinhos e boates. Num geral a estadia foi satisfatória, com alguns pontos a melhorar. Já indico o hostel aos amigos e pretendo voltar em fevereiro.

Fui para ver mais um jogo do Botafogo na Libertadores. O Hostel deu sorte, pois ganhamos nas duas vezes em que fiquei hospedado lá. Perto da Central do Brasil onde se pega o trem para o Estádio Nilton Santos.

Perdemos o Vôo, e não tínhamos reservas previstas, portanto, foi um verdadeiro achado conseguirmos uma hospedagem imediata no custo apresentado. Sem contar na proximidade do aeroporto Santos Dumont (R$7,00 pagos pelo transporte via CABFY).

Boa localização, custo / benefício muito bom.
Boa localização, rua próximo aos principais bares da lapa, mas sem estar no meio da confusão. Próximo aos arcos, facilidade de acesso à ônibus e metro. As acomodações são simples mas muito boas. Ambiente agradável.

Quarto confortável
Fiquei apenas uma noite para ir num show no Circo Voador, que é a apenas duas quadras. É um ótimo hostel para esse fim. Os colchões são novos e superconfortáveis. Os quartos têm beliches de três andares, e em cada quarto dormem umas 16 pessoas, mas quando me hospedei o meu quarto não estava cheio e foi bem confortável. Tem ar condicionado no quarto, um pouco gelado.

Faltou uma limpeza no banheiro antes de chegarmos. creio que tenha sido uma falha, pois o quarto estava com a roupa de cama branquinha. E o problema com o barulho, pois o quarto ficava ao lado da área de confraternização, então era impossível conseguir dormir.
