"Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

The staff was so kind and helpful and it was great to be able to get out on the water and Kayak. The location is walking distance to town for cafes, grocery and restaurants. The price is affordable and the room was very clean and cosy! I would definitely stay again if I travel there! "

""Our family of six (including four kids) had an absolutely fantastic stay at this VRBO! For anyone who loves to surf, the location simply couldn't be better – the waves were easily accessible. Beyond the prime location, Naomi and Roberto were exceptional hosts. Their warm and attentive service made us feel so well taken care of, and they were always on top of every little detail regarding the house.We were also incredibly impressed by the owner's thoughtfulness. It's clear they put a lot of care into ensuring guests have a wonderful experience, and their attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. "This is a once in a lifetime stay! The property is stunningly beautiful and located deep in the heart of what feels like one of the last "untouched" parts of coastal Costa Rica. If you want a real and authentic experience that's still safe and comfortable, I can't recommend Nereus more highly. Stuart and Jenny are AMAZING and what they've built is nothing short of an oasis. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! "
