Formerly the Dairymans home when the estate was a working farm, now beautifully transformed into an idyllic holiday home.
The Dairy has two double bedrooms one has a 5' double bed, french windows onto garden and TV with radio and the other with twin beds ( can convert to a 6' double ) also with TV/radio. There is also a cot or childs bed which can be accommodated in the main bedroom or the small hallway outside the bedroom. There is a comfortable sitting/dining room with TV/radio and french windows onto garden, kitchen and cloakroom with loo and basin. The family bathroom is large and has a loo, bidet, walk in shower and corner bath.
The cream brick and slate roofed property has views over its own pretty gardens to the back and the stable yard with private parking for two cars to the front. There is a brick patio with barbeque, outdoor seating and loungers for the summer months and plenty of room for outdoor games in the mainly lawned garden. Please note the garden its not fully fenced. Approached from a quiet village lane over a cattlegrid and situated at the end of a long driveway where you can walk directly into the Forest and see the lovely New Forest ponies and local wildlife including deer, badgers, foxes, rabbits, buzzards and rare birds. There is a meandering brook just along the lane at Mill Lawn where you can play poo sticks, catch minnows and go Kingfisher watching!
You may prefer a swim in the sea! The lovely beach at Mudeford is only a 10 - 15 minute drive. You can catch the little ferry across to the sandbank and Hengistbury Head and walk in the beautiful nature reserve.
The Garden Cottage just across the lawns from the Dairy can be booked if you have additional guests that would like a bit of privacy, ideal for grandparents! It has one bedroom with 6' double/twin bed a lovely little sitting/dining room, bathroom and cloakroom.
