We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! "Lovely apartment, well stocked and with a fantastic view. It was warm and cosy and an easy walk into Brixham town. We took a couple of coastal walks directly from the apartment without having to drive anywhere.Our hosts were friendly and helpful.Be aware that the apartment is accessed by an external spiral staircase but it's well lit after dark. Off street parking is an added bonus!"

"The stay was fantastic. Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely."

"We had an absolutely brilliant stay in the Chapel. It is much bigger than it looks with gorgeous high ceilings so it feels very spacious. With a two year old and a large dog, it never felt cramped or like we were on top of each other. And the bathroom is HUGE! We felt incredibly welcomed and will be back without a doubt. "Fantastic week - what a place, beaches lovely, people mega friendly, accommodation lovely especially the views, the Venus Cafe was superb AND we even had good weather. Burgh Island was a treat the Pilchard Inn did a stunning meal and the sea tractor was something everyone should do. I loved it all and so did the dog :-)"

"The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. Great if you’re in your 20’s and don’t want to sleep. Great if you want a swinging party of 6 guests. Not great if you’re in your 50’s...

"First class renovation all you need supplied Clean ,Modern , Just great you could move in no problem Couple of points to know there are steps up to the property which could be slippy so be aware and there’s a fiddly process for the water for the shower we did the first three days not realising you had to change a setting on the boiler for hot water !!! Now we know I will book again "

"Brixham is beautiful. The property has amazing views. Shower over bath, ok ISH, but the tap leaks. It also leaks in the kitchen. No recycling and the outside bin was full to the brim. We paid extra £100 for linen and was expected to strip beds on vacating. Think this is a bit much to ask when you have to vacate at 9.30am and the fact we paid extra £100 for this service.
