"My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this quiet, peaceful, historic hotel. We particularly liked the beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. Although it was too chilly for us to use it, their patio dining right next to the lake was gorgeous. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh, fried eggs and smoked salmon. Our room was very clean and spacious and our bed comfortable. It could use some updating of the carpet and decor. We were lucky enough to arrive at the...

"Excellent location in front of lake. Richard was very pleasant, welcoming and made sure our stay was the best ever. Superb breakfast and personalized service.
