Staff was nice but the hotel has the bare minimum. You get what you pay for. They replaced our mattresses with new ones, the last night. They were better. Now they need new pillows and towels. Breakfast was very typical for a Mexican hotel. Close to beach.
Refrigerator in the room. Next door corner store. Nice pool. Nice breakfast.

Location is good, close to beach and in central part of town. Premises is clan and the parking ample, secure, and close to hotel entrance. The pool and courtyard is tidy and nice. Room amenities are sparse: no chair no toiletries. Staff is polite and on duty always.

We love staying at the Casa Margarita. The location, pool and courtyard are great. The rooms are aging but clean and the fridge is great.

Very clean. Room was basic (sparse) but spotless. Nice having fridge in the room. No plug close to the bed so unable to use my CPAP machine. Although no problem to us, we lived out of suitcases for the week as no drawers and just one shelf (but did have hanging space with three hangers). Good breakfast provided each morning at the pool. (Nice pool.) I have some food intolerances and allergies, I brought along some of my own food for breakfast (as no substitutions). No fruit at breakfast (so brought along my own). Close to the beach. I do recommend this property because of cleanliness and location.
This place is busy on weekends as the Mexican tour buses arrive. Good free breakfast and coffee.

Give it a miss
"breakfast" was devoid of fruit, not even orange juice.
promised (and NEEDED blanket for the second bed NEVER was delivered.
hot water tap NEVER provided hot water, regardless of the time of day.
Staff constantly used a wet-mop striving to keep beach sand off the tile floor. Convenience shops are handy.

Very sparse in terms of furniture in the room. No chair to sit on in room. Very, very noisy!!!
It was not an enjoyable 5 days at all! The hotel was extremely noisey and didn't have any chairs to sit on in our room. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I would definitely not stay there again! Terribly disappointed! The only nice thing about the hotel were their staff, very friendly!

Good value!
Spartan, but clean. Quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Close,to lots of shopping, restaurants, and short walk to the beach. Pool clean and good size with small playground for young children. Very good value! Beds are a little too firm.

priced slightly high
Room was clean. Bedding was starched white clean, mattress clear for bedbugs. Toilet clean, shower hot, bathroom sink had slow drainage. Staff pleasant but minimal English. Price should be more like 60 dollars per night. We felt safe, the hotel was full of local families.
The room was very clean and quiet at night. It was basic Mexican, no table or chairs, just a fridge. Noisy around the pool in the mornings, breakfast was served by the pool but we were never told about it, we were the only non Mexicans for 6 nights.

Good looking well run hotel
We spent a week here in February. Pretty basic, clean and lots of staff cleaning everyday. I really can"t think of too many complaints. The pool is pretty busy with lots of families with kids staying there. Breakfast served at 8am by the pool. Four different dishes, with one with scrambled eggs with some kind of meat added to it. Anyway it was pretty good, but so many nice places for breakfast nearby, so for a little variety with ate out most days.
Overall nice place, good location, only complaint was some odor from the shower drain.
The hotel is very clean and not to bad in comfort. Very simple but with enough confort. Just a bed (not to hard) a tv, fridge, an a nice bathroom.
The staff never told us that we have a free breakfast or the time. We did not have a good reception for Wi-fi.
Nevertheless for the amount of money I will choose it again.

Nice hotel, good location, great breakfasts
Nice hotel. Clean, simple. Beds are a bit hard. Breakfasts are great, will fill you up for the day. Nice pool, good for families. Easy walk to beach or town. Convenience store next door and across the street for quick purchases. Walls are a bit thin and noise from road can be heard. No much English spoken here.
