"The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. This was our second visit to the hotel, which we fully recommend and look forward to returning for future trips. "

"Its a heritage property in a very nice area of Darj. However, the property is poorly maintained and it has musty smell in the rooms. Also the plumbing and maintenance is wanting in the rooms. "

"The hotel gave us the room we didn't book for. The reservation manager took our money for deposit but returned only half because he spent it. If we would have got the room that we booked for it would have been nice ig. The hotel location is good. "

Fantastic hotel with Kanchenjunga view rooms

"Fantastic hotel in Gandhi Road. Close to Darjeeling mall, great rooms and wonderful service from the staff. The breakfast has a lot of options and all the food items are very well made. The Kanchenjunga view rooms don't let you down either. Overall, 10/10 and must recommend. "

"Service, location, friendly accommodating staff made us feel like home. Kanchanjungha views from hotel view point.. outside some rooms, dining hall, outside reception.. everywhere. Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. Doma in dining room, authentic Nepalese cells roti made fresh was cherry on top. Will be back. "

"The hotel staff is friendly, the hotel amenities are very efficient and effective, and the view of the mountains from the top two floors - is just fantastic. Had a bit of a medical emergency, and the hotel had no immediate response. They did not know how to call a doctor, but they did provide a car to take me to the hospital next-door but did not offer the car service to come back."
