There were plenty of recommendations for things to do in the area and lots of brochures that really helped us plan our day. "Very clean pleasant gite offering a spot opposite it to rest. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful. "

"Wonderful property. Conveniently located less than an hour from most of the places we wanted to visit. It reminded us of the houses in Beauty and the Beast, but with running water, electricity and a pool. We had dinner under the outdoor covered eating area every night. One of us saw Tracey every day to ask questions about the place or the area. She was very available. Plenty of grocery stores and bakeries near by. Highly recommend the place."
