The location is great, not too far from CDG airport with all the amenities one looks for in Champagne: Boulangerie, Charcuterie and Champagne all within minutes on foot. "This was without doubt the highlight of out 2 month visit to France. The 300 year old house is just amazing, beautifully appointed and exquisitely decorated. And our landlords Jeannot and Edith were just the nicest, most hospitable and friendly couple we met in our travels. From the time they welcomed us with wine and appetizers in the old wine cellar to the time we hugged goodbye, they were just enchanting. We cannot recommend this venue enough. We are resolved to visit it at least once a year....

"My only regret was that we couldnt stay longer. This apartment was well furnished, very cute and in the most convenient location. Very walkable to dozens of restaurants, bars and the best bakeries. I would highly recommend this apartment. We were two people and it was so spacious. Located on 3rd floor for those who have trouble with stairs, not a problem for us, but could be for some. I would definitely return."

"Romain was an excellent host. The apartment had everything you'd need with 4 bedrooms (2 ensuite plus 1 other bathroom). It was clean and cosy and we wished that we'd stayed longer to enjoy it more. We went to a few champagne tastings and the location was perfect with a couple of champagne places right next door! Hautvilliers now has 2 restaurants that open in the evening which was great news after doing our tastings and not wanting to drive...We even stopped by Romain's honey shop under the...

"We enjoyed our brief visit to Reims. The apartment is very nice and the location is quiet. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning as had been expected. Fans were provided but it was still warm. Communication with the manager was not great. They were slow to respond in general. They did respond immediately re the AC but obviously this could not be corrected. If AC is not a priority then this is a good choice."

"The apartment is one in a maze of apartment buildings and was hard to find. The problem was made worst by extensive road repairs that closed the most logical streets into the building. Our GPS was stumped and could not get us in. The property manager only speaks French and we only English so that was hard but we overcame that. The apartment had ZERO towels and ,face clothes. We sent a text in French to the manager and he said they were in the apartment but they were not and he chose not to...
