"Booked for 3 nights. Left after 2 as soon as we could get booked in elsewhere. I understand it’s “budget” but the rooms are more like prison sells. The bathroom was filthy, mould all around the edges, brown splats up the door. Door was falling apart at the bottom. It was 25° when we stayed and the aircon wasn’t working. "Our party of 11 ranged in age from 2yrs to 84 yrs . The accommodation was superb and catered for all age groups . In the mid day sun the children would move from the pool to the house and watch a video or play pool in the brilliant games room. The bedrooms were all spacious and of equal quality . Having 20 plus bikes to choose from enabled many of us to explore the local countryside. We would definitely recommend Barrusclet and hope to return again . Thanks from the Carver family."

"We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came...
