"We had an amazing family holiday on the outskirts of Florence. We used buses and trains throughout our stay to explore Florence - recommend a visit to the Uffizi. We also had a day trip to pisa. There are so many piazza’s, churches, bars, restaurants, statues and stunning architecture in Florence. We also had a day trip to Pisa. The leaning tower was the highlight of that trip. The property was clean and well equipped. Bus connections were easy. Stefano was helpful. A wonderful holiday ! 😀"

"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"Anna was just a delightful host - because we came in late, we asked if she could provide us a simple meat/cheese tray (at our cost of course) and she provided a 4 course home made meal!!!! It was fantastic and we ate leftovers for our entire stay. The villa is just beautiful and had everything we needed and more - be sure to come in warm weather to use the pool. It's a perfect home base to explore the area - but be prepared to drive the curvy roads - which is half the fun! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus. Accommodations were very comfortable, we made good use of the fridge and convection cooktop, and the views are unmatched. Carlo was kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. "Overall our stay in Hu Firenze was great. The restaurant on location was really cool and tasted pretty great too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our little house was a big tent basically. Interesting but annoying when people would come check it out or tap on our house (happened a couple times). It was kinda funny but always awkward. We had a bed, closet, mini fridge, and bathroom. They had a shuttle to take you partially into town or you could walk to Firenze Rovezzano (train station)....
