The house itself is lovely and has everything you need. The lounge is very spacious and comfortable, but with the weather we had we didn’t use it at all. The kitchen is spacious and has everything. "A pleasing mix of old and new, perfectly situated to take in the sights of the Auvergne - a quiet retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. The owners were lovely, and gave us quite a tour and history of the property and region, as well as fruit from the garden and delicious home-made jam. We came upon a little restaurant in the tiny nearby village of Maleville, Les Mets d'Olivia, apparently not yet well known, where we enjoyed an evening of African food and music - what a treat."
