"Olympia Villas is a well equipped, lovely home which suited our needs for a stopover before heading to Olympia. Eleni, our host, was excellent and attended to our needs. Check in and check out was well arranged. We had a delicious breakfast delivered to the home by Eleni. Absolutely lovely. The swimming pool was pristine, clean and so refreshing. "This home was well maintained and spotless - the pool was lovely and the kitchen well stocked. Beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space! Short walk to both beach and Kalamata city center on a quiet street with plenty of parking - a car is a must in Kalamata to really explore! While there is air conditioning, it is limited to 24c (75 degrees) and gets quite warm at night. It is a 10 minute walk down to Central stupa with its restaurants and bars, but you hear nothing in Villa The pool is lovely with a shallow area and a deeper section 1.6m. "Six of us stayed in this house.The eleven year old enjoyed the visiting felines who politely waited to be fed. The three upstairs bedrooms were spacious and the fourth downstairs adequate. Spectacular view although somewhat nerve racking for some of us to get to our destination. "We spent just under 3 weeks in the Peloponnese and this mansion was our home base. It was so excellent we didn't want to leave. Great pool and hot tub, spacious, lots of fruit trees that were in season, a taverna within walking distance and beaches that were perfect for sunning and playing in the Aegean. A few minor niggles - loud lawn mower, tree trimmer from 5am every day disturbed sleep. Shower system quite old, leaky and small bathrooms.
