"Beautifully maintained and decorated house, with everything you could want for a comfortable stay in this interesting part of Roussillon, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Guy was a pleasant, helpful host. A very quiet location. We visited many castles, Romanesque abbeys and delightful medieval villages. Thank you for everything! "

Aanraders: Collioure, Cadaqués, Girona, Paulilles, kustweg tussen Banyuls-sur-Mer en Cap de Cerbère. Misschien een kleine tip voor de eigenaars van de woning? In de badkamer en toilet, een klein vuilbakje en een groot handdoekenrek beneden in de badkamer."

Tout était bien dans la maison, Si nous devions faire juste un reproche est sur l accès à la piscine il n y a que trois marches pour descendre dans la piscine de 1, 55 m de profondeur. Ce qui est gênant pour les enfants et pour les personnes âgées. Hormis ce point tout était génial. Jean-Luc"

"This 250 year old property is beautifully maintained and the conversion to modern amenities was tasteful and functional without compromising the visual integrity of the historical structure . The 13 meter long pool is well maintained and clean . It was reminded us of Napa Valley before it was discovered and developed . It was great value as well."

"Nous avons passé de superbes vacances d'été en famille. La maison est exceptionnelle avec ses 6 chambres. Mon papa ne supportant pas la chaleur, il a pu se ressourcer à l'étage dans le salon climatisé, nous ne la mettions même pas en bas mais elle fonctionne très bien. Beaucoup d'équipements, de vaisselle, tout est pensé pour fonctionner en famille nombreuse. De 3 ans à 60 ans en passant par les ados, chacun a pu se créer des merveilleux souvenirs en famille. "A lovely spacious property, well equipped kitchen with a lovely clean pool, plenty of outside seating/relaxing space complete with a barbecue, independent air conditioning in both bedrooms. The owner is lovely lady who is always available should she be required but will also stay away and let you enjoy your holiday if that's what you want. Would highly recommend this Gite for an adult break but I believe it would also suit a family with young children as I believe our children would have loved...

"The house is beautifully renovated in a Catalan style, traditional to this area. It has everything you need for short or long term stays and is very homely. The village (Palalda) is a perfect location on the south facing (sunny!) side of the mountain. Great for sports as there are so many cycling, running/ hiking routes in the area and it is close to the lake at Saint Jean and not far from the coast."
