Cielo Vista! Amazing San Juan Mountain retreat

This Log home with a massive glass prow-front overlooking the majestic San Juan Mountain range is the second to last house at the end of the road. A large deck extends all the way across the front of the house making it easy to find a spot to sit and enjoy the view. It has two bedrooms downstairs, with two baths, one of which is in the master bedroom. The upstairs loft is spacious with one queen and two twin beds and plenty of room left for a desk, game table and TV viewing area.
*Getting Here* If you are flying...Montrose Airport is only 1 hr. away, Grand Junction is 2 hrs. and Denver is 6.5-7 hrs away.
Need a car....We offer for rent a beatiful loaded 4dr Jeep rubicon with a 'One Touch' power convertibel top. A great way to tour this amazing area.

It was wonderful location. Really enjoyed our stay here. The uninterrupted view of mountains is just amazing. It was very peaceful and away from city madness. The property manager Rick was super helpful and responsive. I would definitely would love to stay here.

We were blown away by the stunning views and quiet area which was just what we were looking for. The property manager was awesome too and drove 20 minutes to meet us for an item we accidentally left behind. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Had an absolute blast on our trip! Cabin is cozy and VERY well stocked. Set back a ways from town which is what we like and the drive to and from the cabin is beautiful. Rick the property manager is extremely professional and responsive. Will stay here again next visit.

Amazing view and so peaceful
The only downfall is its a Long drive down gravel roads to get to the cabin so I would recommend a truck or suv, but the view and location is so worth it. This is the nicest cabin with the best view I have ever stayed in

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay. The home was beautiful, with the most breathtaking views. Very clean and spacious with every amenity we needed. We loved sitting out on the porch to take in the beauty of the scenery. We hope to return one day!

The home is beautiful. The views are simply stunning. We were on a quick trip through CO and only stayed a couple days. We are already talking about the next time we come back. The beds are super comfortable and we had all the towels and kitchen amenities we needed. The fire table on the deck was awesome to sit around in the evening. The location was perfect for us. Our family enjoyed this leg of our trip the most.

A great place to get away from the hustle of life. Quite, relaxing, great views of the mountains (and the lunar eclipse). Near the end of the road so there's no traffic noise. Well stocked with everything you need.

Absolutely Beautiful
Great location for us! This property is nicely off the beaten path, and comes.wirh a STUNNING view - the pictures in the listing do.not give it justice. Great location - ten minutes to Downtown Ridgeway, 20 to Ouray, plenty of great hiking and activities nearby. But the house and the view... Again, stunning and a perfect alpine retreat.

Long Weekend
We were looking for a spot in Ridgeway as home base for a long weekend with day trips to Telluride and Ouray. This location was 15+ minutes from Ridgeway proper but the drive to town for amenities (grocery, coffee, dinner access) was well worth it for the views and seclusion we were also wanting. Great loft area for kids play/sleep. Great patio seating, well stocked and comfortable. Will certainly look to rebook for future trips.

Unbeatable views!
The pictures of this place do not do it justice. The mountains are the perfect backdrop for this cozy cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the added bonus of toys and movies in the loft for the kiddos was awesome. The layout worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The deer visit every morning and we loved watching them while we ate breakfast. A reasonable price for such a gem!

This home has a fantastic deck with exceptional views. The kitchen was well stocked and functional. The house is further out than I realized- about 20 minutes on a gravel road. Beautiful location but definitely feels remote.

Sisters Weekend
Great place to get away for a sisters weekend. Abit off the highway but worth the drive. Sitting on the deck morning and evening was a treat being able to watch the hummingbirds, deer and chipmunks. Fully stocked kitchen is a huge plus. Will stay again on a heart beat. Thank you. Temaat sisters

House was in a beautiful setting, very clean, posting was accurate. Front deck provided an incredible view for morning coffee. The only negative was that there wasnt air conditioning and it happened to be very hot while we were there. Fortunately it cooled down at night. Overall a 5 out of 5!

Spectacular Property!
We’ve stayed at many short-term vacation rentals, but this is the best equipped home we’ve ever encountered. The women were ecstatic about the fact that the kitchen had EVERYTHING you could possibly want. The house itself is beautiful and decorated in authentic western style with many family treasures. It is clear the owners built and furnished this to be wonderful for their own family. And sitting on the deck around the gas fire pit, or eating at the table, barbecuing steaks, and so forth while looking at a fantastic view of the San Juan mountains—well we felt we were in heaven!

Getaway Week
We needed alternate plans for the summer after our initial plans fell through. This house/location did not disappoint. It was amazing to wake up and go to bed with views of the mountains. It was secluded enough to feel like an escape, but still close enough to Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison (about an hour away) to hike and explore the wonderful outdoors. Accommodations were perfect for our needs-comfortable beds and a very well stocked kitchen. There was a fun collection of DVD's which contributed to my kids' education on great 90's/00's movies. This was a wonderful experience and we are already dreaming of our next trip here.
