Ursula was very responsive, and the place was clean and reasonably stocked. Easy check in, plenty of street parking, and a nice large backyard for the kids to run around.
Family gathering for commencement ceremony & celebration… including 2 folks from Iowa, one from Alabama, and 2 from NoVA.
Lots of fun and connections, with memories (and photos) to last a lifetime:)
Everything was as advertised. One very small complaint is the dishwasher is completely full with dirty dishes. Not a big deal, though. Everything else was great.
This house is perfect! It is very spacious, well decorated, very clean, very comfortable and very well stocked, and is in a very quiet neighborhood. We were in town for a family wedding and 6 of us stayed in this house. The other family members stayed in hotels but came over to our house in the mornings for breakfast and to hang out, and we never felt the least bit crowded. Parking was on the street and there were plenty of spaces available.. Our hostess, Ursula, was super nice and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
My welcome to this location was a discovery that were dishes in the dishwasher for me to unload and was only one roll of toilet paper in a two story home with three bathrooms. One of the bedrooms was also missing a comforter. I filed this as a nonissue since I was going to the store anyway, but add in the broken remote that made it impossible to watch the living room television and internet service that couldn’t support me casting from my phone on thanksgiving weekend when we all wanted to watch football. It just made it needlessly difficult. The owner tried to trouble shoot but failed to realize that it was the remote and not the TV or blackouts in Churchhill — which isn’t something that happens often enough to cause a TV issue like this. It’s Churchill, not some place subjected to rolling blackouts. I eventually gave up and we suffered through it. A new remote and a booster for the internet service would be a smart purchase to improve the stay for guests.
We selected this home to have a gathering place for family who were coming into town for a wedding and could not have been more pleased. When we arrived, we found a fresh bottle of milk and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator and coffee, tea and a few snacks on the counter. There are games scattered around, two televisions, plenty of towels, bedding, hangers and dishes, including everything I needed to cook Easter dinner for everyone. The house is spacious with both large gathering areas and room for people to escape when they need a break. And the security system is top notch. Everything was perfect!
