"Our stay at this property was wonderful. The apartment was very cute and comfortable. It was a great place to spend time with family and friends. The beds were very comfortable with excellent bedding. The bathroom was large and very modern. The location allowed easy access to local attractions. After we arrived, our hosts Johann and Sandy were easy to communicate with and they were very prompt to look after our needs. They made us feel very much at home. Our trip did have just a couple hiccups...

"We really enjoyed our stay in Waterbury! The apartment is separate from the house, so no worries on either party disturbing the other. Check in and out was super easy, and Tim was always in communication - answered any questions promptly. Stocked appropriately - plenty of towels, linens, soaps, etc. We did not cook there, so I can't comment on kitchen stocking. We had enough space for 2 adults. "We had a wonderful time in Stowe. It was our first trip and we are so glad we chose the Lodge at Spruce Peak. It was the best place to stay and we will definitely be back. "It’s a nice and clean unit. The owner is responding quickly when we had a minor issue with lockbox. The supplies in the room are sufficient. The only thing to mention is soundproof in master bedroom not good. We had to use earplugs to not hear the talking sound from house on the other side. Overall, we enjoyed this unit and will recommend it to friends."

"This is the cutest little place to stay and it is so close to many great restarants, shops, Champlain lake, walking trails etc. I rated one area a 3 star because the VBRO unit is on the first floor and there are full time attendants in the other apartments. The walls are very thin and we could hear the tenants above us at night which made it hard to sleep. The 2nd night however I turned on the sound machine on my iPhone and that took care of the issue. "There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
