"Beautiful two bedroom apartment in an old house with private entrance and outdoor dining patio. Perfect for a couple or small family as there is only one bathroom. Gorgeous gardens and flowers with private gated parking. Very close drive to wineries or tasting rooms as well as area Chateaus and villages. No food onsite but Grocery store within 3 kilometers for use in the full kitchen. Bottle of local wine was a nice Welcome gift. Owners/managers couldn’t be nicer. Great base for Chinon area...

"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."
