"The hotel is an old castle high up above the valley - how fantastic is that? Wonderful character with plenty to wander around and explore. We would have enjoyed the views from the rooftop terrace had the weather been a bit warmer but we enjoyed looking around the hotel and relaxing with a drink in the main central room. There was no bar as such but drinks were available from reception and we had a great meal in the restaurant. Good service throughout our stay."

"This hotel is in the MIDDLE of an commercial industrial estate so Monday to Friday it is probably quite busy. We took an U16 rugby team there for a tournament. The hotel is basic but much better than it status suggests. The rooms are very big, spacious and clean. They are a bit cold and the AC is very loud, however they have heaters for the room which are great. The bar is franchised and not part of the hotel, the staff and owner could not do enough for us. The food was cheap, plentiful, healthy...

However, although the rooms are clean they are very ‘tired’ and require some work.on this occasion we stayed in a different part of the hotel and the neighbours were very noisy, haven’t suffered from this problem before and have stayed many times."
