"Second stay here on our journey back to UK from Portugal. Great place, clean, comfortable and the owner is a gentleman. Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. We will be back during our travels. Thanks"

"I don't like writing reviews like these. The owener and staff were very nice. Facilities were great with 2 fatal flaws: 1) Not enough hot water capacity (I had cool to cold showers 2 out of 3 days). I mentioned it to the owner and was told there were too many guests. "The property manager was super responsive via text and even got us into our room early after a tour was moved to later in the day. Our room was gorgeous and luxurious! It’s located in the heart of downtown. You park on the street but the boat pays for it. We were left a beautiful bottle of wine upon arrival and given a gorgeous full breakfast delivered to our room the next day! Wow! I wish all stays were this indulgent! "
