Nestled on five quiet acres and only a quarter mile from the Rhinecliff train station, you will feel like you are in the perfect country home away from home.

No detail has been spared in this spacious and updated 3 bedroom home. It features a modern, clean décor with elegant finishing touches throughout. The main living area offers an open floor plan and plenty of space for lounging near the fireplace. You will love cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and eating in the picturesque dining room with comfortable seating for 8+. There is a king master bedroom on the main floor with a TV and ensuite full bath with jet air tub and separate shower. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with showers. A separate reading nook/office on the main level is perfect for curling up with a book on a rainy day. This fully furnished property include amenities such as fast WIFI, full cable, central AC/heat, full laundry room, large outside deck with grill, and a lovely gas fireplace.

Enjoy a Hudson Valley getaway in historic Rhinebeck; check out the nearby towns of Kingston, Hyde Park, or Woodstock; or enjoy the scenic 1.5 hour train ride into NYC. Guests staying here are a short drive from an amazing array of fine dining options, farmer's markets, fairs and festivals at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, the Aerodrome air shows, fantastic wineries, the FDR Library and Museum, the Vanderbilt estate, the Culinary Institute of America, as well as skiing at Hunter or Windham Mountains. Enjoy everything that fall in the northeast has to offer from our home base - fall foliage, apple picking, the half marathon and 5K in Rhinebeck, etc.

Beautiful and comfortable
We've stayed at quite a few rental homes, and this is now one of our favorites. Very comfortable after a long day of hiking, quiet, and an extra bonus was the stocked kitchen -- so very nice not to have to run out to a grocery store to get basic items like spices, cooking oils and condiments. We'll hope this home is available again!

Secluded hideaway
The house was perfect for me and my friends - plenty of space, and close to Rhinebeck. Quiet and secluded, spacious interiors, clean and comfortable. Everything we could have wanted! Tracy was a gracious host, we will definitely be back!

Perfect location.
Rhinebeck is a perfect location to visit the Hudson River Valley area. Beautiful with lots of wonderful restaurants, etc. Home is very nice, but seems somewhat neglected. Front living areas very nice, but laundry room is a mess, and very little (trickle) water fills up clothes washer. Pretty much nonusable. Large hole in hall ceiling obviously was leak but ceiling never fixed. Doorways smell moldy, door locks work sporadically, etc., etc. Owner lives across street, told him about washer and he said, "oh ya, I've been meaning to get that fixed". Not very concerned. It's a wonderful house and location, but seems upkeep is lacking. Bring mosquito repellant if you plan to sit outside!

Perfect place for an introvert party!
Tracy and Rob have a gorgeous home, and October is the perfect time to visit. The house has many windows and all provided a view of the fall foliage. We spent most of our time in the living room, enjoying the fireplace while reading, knitting, and chatting. We stayed in their home last year, and again our biggest disappointment was that we had to leave and return to our normal lives. Tracy and Rob's home is a peaceful refuge, perfect for spending quiet time with friends. Highly recommend!

Even better than expected!
The home is clean, bright, and very well appointed. Tracy made sure everything was as advertised, and even had a welcome gift for us. Having coffee and tea available, and all the basic amenities for a house, was more and than you normally get in a VRBO. The setting is convenient for everything in the Hyde Park area. We cooked one night and found everything you need to prepare and serve a meal. Would definitely recommend this house as your own retreat. Thank you Tracy for making everything perfect!

Great sanctuary in the woods!
A beautiful architectural masterpiece in the woods. It was spacious, with amazing natural lighting via several well-positioned sky lights. Very child-friendly...the kids loved the PS-3 console. Board games for the whole family. Up-to-date appliances. Definitely a great place to stay. Would do it again at the earliest opportunity. Very responsive owner....thanks, Tracy!

Lovely Country Home
A lovely home in a beautiful setting. A perfect location from which to explore the Hudson River Valley. Ideally placed for those who want to take the train into visit Manhattan while staying in the country. The house itself is spacious and very well appointed and the owners are professional and responsive. We would be happy to return

One of the best places I’ve rented. An incredible value.
Tracy and Rob’s Rhinecliff retreat is a truly magical place. The photos on home away don’t do it justice. Tracy and Rob were gracious and accommodating hosts. We arrived and found a lovely bottle of wine left for us, as well as a great assortment of toys for our toddler to play with. The kitchen was sufficiently outfitted. The gas fireplace was cozy and convenient. The yard was sprawling and a fun place to take walks. The bathrooms immaculately tiled and tidy. I highly recommend this property and my family and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Perfect home in a beautiful area.
This home was the perfect place to stay for our travel to the area! The home is immaculate, well-maintained, beautifully decorated and is surrounded by the beauty of nature. Although I had numerous questions prior to booking this property, Tracy was prompt and always courteous in answering my questions and accommodating my particular needs prior to our arrival. We happened to be there during the first snow storm of the season, and were pleasantly surprised that someone had shoveled for us prior to our a.m. departure. The location is also close to numerous attractions, and only a 5 minute drive away from numerous restaurants in downtown Rhinebeck. When we visit the area again, we hope this property is available for us!

A Wonderful Retreat in Rhinecliff
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The house is on a beautiful, private lot, and the many windows look out onto a lovely landscape--wherever you look, there's a view of nature. The house is very comfortable and the owners have done a great job of making their guests feel comfortable and at home. We enjoyed lingering over our coffee and enjoying the view from the dining room each morning, and loved returning to this lovely home at the end of each day's adventures. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to cook, or there are many options for dining and takeout in the area. The location works very well for visits to Bard College (~15 minute drive to Bard), and is also a great base for exploring the Hudson River Valley. The owner, Tracy, is great to work with. She communicates well and the process for checking in and out was fast and easy. I look forward to another opportunity to stay in this lovely home--it truly is a retreat that will leave you feeling relaxed and recharged. Thanks, Tracy, for sharing your home and for all you did to make us feel welcome and at home.

Beautiful home, wonderful owners
Tracy and Rob have an incredible home in the woods. It's cozy and comfortable, yet has plenty of space where introverts can recharge. Tracy was out of town during our stay, but made sure we had someone to contact if we needed anything. The kitchen is very well outfitted with cookware, dishes, and flatware. The beds were comfortable, and even those of us who tend to sleep poorly slept soundly. Our biggest disappointment (and it's huge!) is that we couldn't stay longer. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks, Tracy and Rob, for making our stay such a lovely experience.
