In the immediate vicinity it was very quiet and peaceful and very handy for walks, cycle rides and hiking direct from the house. Visiting Cologne and Bonn was very easy and they are great places to visit. The hosts were very friendly and easy to contact if needed. "We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "
