"This farmhouse is fantastic in a beautiful location surrounded by some lovely woodland that can be explored. The house itself has lots of space and has lots of living areas downstairs. It has lots of books and toys for the kids. It has everything you need if you are staying with young children. The pool is superb, warm and big we spent everyday in there. It is a drive to the supermarket but worth it for the secluded location."

Située dans la campagne, au calme, mais tout de même proche des commodités et du centre ville de Castres (en voiture). Pas mal d'activités ou visites à faire dans la région si la piscine ne vous suffit pas :). The village is a short car journey to Carcassonne, which we visited for an afternoon though the heat cut out trip short. "We were delighted with the house and pool at La Calvetie. The house was well appointed with everything you need for a family holiday. The garden was large with plenty of space for children to play, the pool was a good size with lots of sun loungers and the Boules court was used every night. The house manager was on call to help out with any little problems. Highly recommended."

"Tout s’est bien passé pour notre semaine. La piscine dans la maison est très agréable surtout pour la baignade des enfants (toujours à l’ombre). Seul bémol sur la piscine est la douche non fonctionnelle et le volet roulant de la piscine. Réparations sûrement à venir. Sinon la maison est bien équipée, le linge de lit et de toilette ainsi que la literie sont de bonne qualité. Il y a aussi de nombreux livres, jeux et dvd a disposition. "Ce n'était pas des vacances mais 3 jours pour assister à un mariage dans la région. mais cela peut être agréable pour un séjour plus long. Si les propriétaires sont là pour vous accueillir et vous donner toutes informations pour la gestion du séjour, ce qui n'était pas le cas pour nous. Ils ne sont revenus que le lendemain en fin d'après-midi. Dommage, cela ne donne pas une bonne impression."

It’s a fantastic and quirky old house that has not been over restored, it’s a little remote, there is nothing in Saint Paulet, so a drive to get delicious bread and pasties every morning. "From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes. Pleasant 3 mile walk through vineyards and around a lake straight from the Gite with more demanding and walks and hikes within driving distance....
