Amara Villas is a beachfront holiday complex, consisting of 3 independent Villas, each one with its own private pool.
Amara Villa I is perfectly situated for a car-free holiday, with a sandy beach just 100 meters away, complete with private sunbeds exclusively for our guests. All essential amenities are within easy walking distance, making daily needs effortless, while the beautiful area of Rethymno and its picturesque Old Town are just 3 km away.
Amara Villa I is a luxurious, three-story residence spanning 210 square meters, thoughtfully designed in a chic, minimalist holiday style. Every detail has been carefully curated with our guests comfort in mind, showcasing high-quality design and premium furnishings throughout. The villa comfortably accommodates 8 guests across its 4 spacious bedrooms, with the flexibility to host up to 10 if needed.

Indoor Layout
Ground Floor
Reaching the ground floor, you will find yourselves in a cozy, open-plan area consisting of the living room and kitchen, and one bedroom. The living area provides two comfortable sofas, a 49 HDTV, as well as a pool view and direct access to a veranda. Furthermore, the fully equipped kitchen with a wine cooler and indoor dining area provides all the necessary appliances and equipment for your self-catered vacation.
Bedroom 1: This bedroom features a King-size bed (1,80 x 2,00), and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower. This bedroom also features a self-controlled A/C, and a 32" HDTV.
First Floor
After ascending a few stairs, guests can find the second bedroom with a Queen-size bed(1,60 X 2,00 m), which offers an en-suite bathroom with a shower cabin, as well as access to a balcony equipped with patio furniture and a large veranda. This balcony also features an outdoor jacuzzi, table tennis, and stunning panoramic views of the sea.
Lower Floor
On the lower level of the Villa, guests can find the two remaining bedrooms and a playroom to enjoy all the fun!
Bedroom 3: This bedroom features a Queen-size bed (1,60 x 2,00), and an ensuite bathroom with a stand up shower. This bedroom also features a self-controlled A/C and a 32" HDTV.
Bedroom 4: This bedroom features two single beds (0,90 x 2,00), which can be joined together to form a King-size (1,80 x 2,00) upon request.
The playroom featuring a 49" HDTV with Netflix, a PlayStation 4, a Bluetooth speaker, board games, and a comfortable sofa, will offer many pleasant moments to you and your loved ones. This area also features access to the pool terrace through a staircase. Also, the sauna, static bike, treadmill, and two yoga mats will help you keep in shape during your holiday. Additionally, an extra bathroom with a shower cabin can be found on this level. Finally, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is also available.

Outdoor area

The beautifully landscaped outdoor area and the pool terrace are fully fenced offering total privacy to our guests. More specifically our outdoor facilities include:?
- 50 sq. m. private swimming pool (1,50 m. deep) featuring a special compartment for children (0,50 m. deep).
- 6 comfortable sun beds, 2 chaise longues and umbrellas
- Outdoor sitting area
- Playground for our young guests
- Shaded veranda with outdoor dining area (with direct access to the living room)
- Shaded veranda on the first floor, featuring a 5 seater hot tub, ping pong table and outdoor living room

INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA

The Villa is located in Missiria area in Rethymno.

Misiria is a consecutive suburb of Rethymnon.

A long sandy beach stretches along the area, which is an extension of vast north coastline that starts near the harbour of Rethymno and extends to the east for 13km till Skaleta beach. It is very well organised, with a plethora of choices for food, drink and beach bars.

Like in all parts of the long beachfront, loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) lay their eggs here. The turtles are threatened with extinction, but the Rethymno Gulf is one of the three most important places for the species in Greece, bearing annually more than 400 nests in average.

The town of Rethymno also offers many sightseeing spots, such as the Fortezza fortress, the Venetian harbour, several mosques, the municipal garden and more. Furthermore, several picturesque villages are within close proximity ideal for walks around the area.

**Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the "Climate Crisis Resilience Charge", requiring a fee of EUR1.5 per night from March to October and EUR0.5 per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.
