"Extremely quiet area, very comfortable bed. The bathroom door is made of glass with no privacy which is a little weird, a small curtain would be an easy adition.Bread and viennoiserie for breakfast seemed day old, but having a kitchen with a microwave and toaster helped. The owners had shared they wouldn't be available in the morning for personal reasons it was nice to be able to make more coffee ourselves."

"Ein schöner Pferdehof auf dem Land, der schöne Zimmer hat. Die Zimmer sind groß und schön eingerichtet. Man sieht, dass noch gebaut wird, aber das ist grundsätzlich kein Problem. Problemlos haben wir einen Code und die Informationen zum Zimmer gefunden. Das W- Lan funktioniert nur an einigen Stellen im Zimmer. Sanitäre Anlagen etc. sind super. Frühstück gab es leider keines. Ein Manko: Wir sind fast 40 min auf dem Hof selbst herumgefahren, um zu den Zimmern zu finden. Das Gelände ist sehr...

"I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."

"We stayed for only a night. Our spacious room was modern with a well appointed bathroom. Our host was right there when needed. The breakfast was ample with quality regional products. The manor house is set in a large parkland which is essentially a game preserve for large and small game alike. The owner is guide and supervises shooting parties for groups and other group functions. The main house is tastefully decorated with hunting lodge decor. I would certainly stay there again."

"We can thoroughly recommend this property. This property itself wss fantastic and suited all our needs as a family. Beautiful countryside with spectacular views. "The hotel is worth it because of the view. The rooms...not so much. The bed was rock-hard and the amenities were sorely lacking. We didn't have any food from the restaurant or room service because the menu was very limited and not very attractive. Definitely a one-time only stay."

It is close to a more tricky part of Paris though and isn't the safest for late night walking, especially for women and children, including many adult themed stores and establishments with the accompanying clientele. That said, it's very well run and is close to many parts of Paris that you DO want to visit."

Great location for Chantilly and trains into Paris

"Lovely clean hotel, well located for Chantilly and train station, very friendly staff especially reception lady when we booked in and Aloise in the restaurant fro breakfast, good breakfast also"

"It's great. Close to airport. There is a shuttle but you have to walk around 5 mins to take it. It's close and you can see the shuttle's stop from the hotel. Not sure why the shuttle doesn't go to the hotel since it's 200 meters far."

"The chateau was a perfect chilled relaxing retreat but still within commutable distance to Paris centre and ideally within 30 mins via taxi from CDG airport. The surroundings and atmosphere within the hotel were perfect We will be returning! Highly recommend! "

"After four days in Paris it was dreamy to take a quick 25 min train ride to Chantilly and stay here. My fiance and I got engaged the night before we stayed here & it was so special to celebrate it here. The staff was great, the room was clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the pool and sauna as well, it was nice how late the pool and sauna were open too (10pm). "
