"Good sized family room with 2 double beds. Very clean and smart. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks available at the bar. We didn't have breakfast, but it is on offer, with kids eating free per paying adult. A short walk away was a selection of restaurants for dinner. There appeared to be a range to suit all budgets/tastes, but we went cheap and cheerful at Pizza Royal (which I'd recommend). The car ferry terminal was only a 5-10 minute drive away, so the hotel was great...

"I have stayed here regularly over the years, but havent been since befoe Covid hit. The hotel has been updated since my last visit and the rooms particularly have benefited from the makeover. The lounge and bar and new Orangery are welcoming spaces. The restaurant has also had a similar makeover, the staff were attentive and friendly. Our mains coukd have done with being hotter when they arrived, but that was our only criticism."

"We had a good stay before catching Le Shuttle. It’s very much budget end, but fine for a one night stay. Everything worked, although the plastic toilet flush operating button was cracked and ready to disintegrate. The shower was fine and had a good amount of hot water pressure. The bed was rather hard for my liking, but that seems quite common in France. The sheets and towels were clean and in good condition. "Short overnight stay. Didn’t have dinner or breakfast so can’t comment but the facilities looked ok to be fair. Room was as expected, nice comfortable bed, good enough for an overnight stay. Bathroom facilities adequate and everything was acceptable. "

"This is a very basic apartment and has a very odd damp/mouldy/unaired smell on entering & a little dusty but it was fine & had everything you could need for a short break including an iron & board, hairdryer and kitchen equipment including a coffee maker, toaster & microwave.
