"The flat in the house was fine, but not as modern as described. The pavement with the stone slabs to the house was not safe, as some stone slabs were movable. It was not clear from the photos in the advert that the double bunk bed was in the same room as the double bed. "We 3 friends enjoyed a lovely stay at this comfortable, quiet, spacious and well equipped apartment on the outskirts of Herrhausen hamlet. Excellent communication beforehand with the host, Melanie, responding promptly to my queries, albeit in German. Her mother lives in the apartment below so was on hand for our arrival from the UK, and kindly gave us some tinned meat and butter for a simple supper as there were no shops open in walking distance. "Sehr schön das Haus und die Umgebung"

"Die helle und große Wohnung war mit zwei getrennten Schlafzimmer genau das richtige für uns. Auch wenn es sich nicht um einen Neubau handelte, war alles an Ausstattung vorhanden. Auto und Fahrräder konnten wir auf dem Grundstück abstellen. Es war sehr angenehm, in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der historischen Altstadt zu sein. 8"

"The apartment was very well equipped, clean and tidy and convenient for visiting the Harz Mountain area. We had beautiful weather the whole week we were there and enjoyed sitting on the balcony when we weren’t going for walks or visiting ancient towns. The apartment is not luxurious but more than adequate for a short holiday. Highly Recommended."

"Erst einmal waren wir etwas geschockt von der Entfernung zu den Restaurants. Wir wohnen lieber zentraler. Sodass wir nicht " Berge" steigen müssen um essen zu gehen. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, im Schwimmbad war ich immer alleine. Die Sauna ist zurzeit kaputt , kann passieren. Wir hätten lieber weniger Handtücher gehabt, dafür mehr Möglichkeiten benutzte zu trocknen. Aber das ist wirklich Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau. "
