"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. "Reception opens at 5pm We went at 4:50pm and the receptionist yelled at us for showing up early I have traveled to over 80 countries and stayed at 100’s of hotels over the past 30 years Have not met someone more rude The hotel is clean (more like a motel). We came here for the church and this was the only option on Expedia "

"Nice area and staff were super helpful, had to change rooms as my wife struggles with stairs and as we arrived early they only had upper rooms ready. Manager couldn’t be nicer and get a ground floor room cleaned and ready for us to use within 10 mins "

"The hotel was OK, but the pictures made the room look larger than it was. Also, there is an additional four euro charge for use of the A/C. We did have a lovely dinner at a Nevers, BOUCHON NIVERNAIS. So, for a stop on the way to Paris, it was OK."

"It’s a cute property—small and quaint. The breakfast area is a cute alcove down in a basement whose surroundings look like a cave. Too cute. There’s kinda like a spiraling stairway down and then up again so a person with severe disabilities may not be able to partake in the complimentary breakfast unless someone fixes a plate and takes it upstairs in the lobby area.
