"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" "Perfect for staying by the Inselsee for a couple of days. Beautiful location by the lake. Maybe better to come with a car, but 15 min walk there are occasional buses to train station also. Bike rental nearby. Service superb and friendly. Nice buffet breakfast. With such bargain price really worth to go for. "

"My email concerning how to check-in arrived after my check-out, so my check-in was confusing. The room was really good. Breakfast was, due to Corona, a paperback to be eaten in my room, with bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, and a cup of coffee. Under the circumstances really good."

"Als Familie ist es ein toller Ort, um ein paar entspannte Tage zu verbringen. Allerdings ist man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, denn im nahen Ortskern gibt es außer ein paar, bei uns leider geschlossenen Geschäften nichts nennenswertes. Außerhalb der Saison ist es außerdem schwierig, Aktivitäten im näheren Umkreis zu finden. Da hilft natürlich das inkludierte Schwimmbad, das allerdings auch oft zu gut besucht ist. Dann wird leider der Eintritt verwehrt. Alles in allem war es aber ein...
