As described, there are two master bedrooms with ensuites, one of which is located on the top floor and the other on the bottom floor (i.e., two floors apart). We were two couples so this was ideal; however, I would caution that there are fairly steep, slippery staircases to access the bedrooms, which could prove problematic for anyone with mobility issues. "Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans cette très belle maison située litéralement au pied d'un chateau et tout près de la rivière Dordogne. L'emplacement est à la fois calme mais aussi à dix minutes en voiture des services offert dans les petits villages aux alentours. De plus, nous avons bien apprécié l'air clumatisé dans la canicule. En bref, nous la recommandons fortement!"

"Lovely historic property. We stayed for 5 nights. It is a great location for walking into the old city (5 minute walk) and a great base for visiting the Dordogne area. The kitchen was bright and well appointed and the living room comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are modern. It is cool to see door locks that are probably 100 years old. "This was our 2nd stay in the property (albeit 16 years between visits) and it didn’t disappoint. The property is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The views are amazing, and the sight of the hot air balloons rising through the mist in the mornings is spectacular.
