There is no communication with the front desk after you are in the room The fire alarm was set off and I did not know if it was get out time or not..could not speak to front desk. The staff went over and above but the hotel itself is shoddy and needs upgrading ..Also smells of smokers. If you are a smoker go stay there ..you can smoke.The outside area as you are going into the hotel smells like smoke.

It’s a nice and quiet area, the bed is comfy and there’s also a balcony which is nice to stand on and look into the stars on a clear night

This hotel is very tired. Dated decor, peeling paint, mouldy corners, old and damaged furniture etc all make this a poor value for money stay - very disappointed.

The property name is inconsistent with the services delivered. There is no bar or restaurant. There is no provision for a breakfast (i.e. no a.m. meal) and no obvious sign of hotel staff, aside from an receptionist. The bedroom is well equipped and comfortable. Ensuite bathroom is clean and very adequate. The room provides a clothes iron, and an ironing board, which is useful. Car parking space is plentiful, possibly because the property was almost empty. I requested a single room, and was upgraded to a double room. There is plenty of unoccupied room availability, on a Sunday night, ahead of an early start to the working week. Something is missing. The property is clean, but is the hotel equivalent of a ghost-town. It is situated sufficiently proximate to London Gatwick Airport, It has potential, but there's a great deal of work ahead to be carried out,

A clean and comfortable stay
The room was clean and very large. The toilet seat lid needed to be propped up with a towel otherwise it would fall down on your back. Other than that I was very impressed, especially for the price of £48 for a Saturday night for a double.

Cheap stay but in need of a lot of work
Positives beds clean and very comfortable. Hotel was very cheap for a family room. Negatives hotel is badly in need of refurbishment, the sliding door to our balcony had been left open and could not be closed or locked. The shower took an age to warm up and only hot luke warm and the bath could've be used as had no plug. The grout was damaged in the bathroom floor and badly in need of being regrouted. Whole llace really needs tk habe some work done to bring it back to its former standard

Bed was uncomfortable. Felt itchy throughout the night. Extremely outdated hotel. Needs a full renovation. Shower had no pressure Toilet was leaning and could it all night. Rooms were extremely cold. Walls are super thin could hear next door talking at 3am.

OYO Bridge Hotel
Initially I was booked into a single room (No.35), the room was small, but I didn’t expect much for what I’d paid. However the room was really cold. I tried to adjust the heating. Left the room, and went to the bar. I spoke to a member of staff to ask if I could borrow a heater if the room was not warm when I got back, they said yes. Got back to my room, which still really cold. Tried to turn the TV on, there was no signal. I was staying for 3 nights, so heating and a TV were important. Went back to reception to explain the situation. Members of staff (wish I knew their names) were absolutely lovely, and upgraded me to a double room (No. 33) which was lovely and warm. TV only had certain channels, but you’re ok if you have Netflix / Prime TV. The room had a balcony, however there were nails sticking out of the wood.

Staff really pleasant and helpful; very grateful for their help and assistance during the stay. The general standard of the hotel was OK. Our room was clean and beds comfy (but i like soft matress) but bathroom grim, with a shower barely usable as water too hot, or a trickle if not so hot. Could not get live TV, only radio on a TV app. No lift..quite a few stairs. I wouldn't stay again.
