No receipts - Company policy.
This hotel's location is the reason we chose it. Disappointed in their "policies". I booked the room through a 3rd party (Hotels.com) so the room was paid for in advance. Upon arrival I was asked for a credit card for incidentals. No problem.....this is standard. Upon checking out, I asked for a receipt and was told I needed to contact the company I booked through for one. I explained that I was not looking for a receipt from the booking, but for one showing a 0 balance for incidentals. I was very rudely told "We don't give receipts!" This is the first time I have run into this. I get them all the time when I travel. Trying to explain this, I was told it was their policy. I can understand not wasting paper for those who do not want one, but if you ask for one, you should be able to get one. Poor Policy on their part. The rooms & Continental breakfast were average at best.....nothing special.
