Stay was 12/28 to 1/1. Room looked clean at first glance. Had an ocean view. Emo at the belldesk was wonderful. But we had a lot of issues. The floors in room were filthy- covered in dirt & sand- made it impossible to get in bed without tracking it on the sheets. Had to wipe our feet vigorously each time we walked. Told the beds were queen but are def full. The kitchen is stocked with plates that had some sort of slime on them! Didn't investigate further, just got paper plates at a store. The pool (the main reason we chose this place) was cold & the heater was broken. Called about this before we arrived, & got a different answer from every person who answered at the front desk- ranging from "It won't be fixed for a while" to "The part should be in on Mon" to "The water will heat up quick" to "The water will heat up in 3 days." Bar and restaurant closed seasonally- these were promised when we booked in July. Desk said NYE event was cancelled- found out the next day that it occurred while we sat in our room doing nothing. On top of ALL of this, on 12/26 we were told that our room would be assigned upon arrival. 12/27 we were told our room was in the North tower 3rd flr. The site stated that check in was at 4. 12/28 arrived at 345 to be told that our room "had been given to someone who arrived earlier", then waited until 445 to get a different room in the South tower, which meant walking across the street to get to the lobby, desk, breakfast & pool. We will never come back
