"The Baros Hotel was one of the best resort experiences we have ever had! The island itself is beautiful and the resort blends in nicely with the environment. "We really loved the small and intimate feel of the resort. The staff really went out of their way to create a great experience for all the guests. One of the highlights of this location is their home reef just steps from the beach. They will give you snorkel equipment and if the weather had been nicer when we stayed (during August Monsoon), I could have spent the whole day out there. We did bite the bullet and go out snorkeling when the weather showed no signs of letting up and still saw a lot of sea life, including both a white tip and black tip reef shark. The rooms were very nice and the all-inclusive package was probably one of the best I have seen. We didn't part-take in the alcohol in the room, but it along with the snacks were very well stocked. We booked the jacuzzi room, which could have been a really nice, but the water to fill the jacuzzi was coming out brown. Likely due to rust of the pipes. A sign or something stating what it was might have helped us look past that. Their main restaurant was very nice and had a good selection of foods for our taste. The bar was also wonderful and exceptional service. This is not a couples-only resort and it did appear we were out numbered by families. We have our own children (who stayed with grandma) so this didn't bother us at all, but something to note. We were most impressed with their teams attention and efforts to make our trip fantastic from the moment we landed to the moment they brought us back to the airport."
