"We stayed for a long easter weekend getaway. It was a random pick on the map for a location choice. We had a great time with many memories made. Our kids (age range 16-21) loved the location and water front access. The crab pots and kayacks made available were a hit. Though we never caight a fish or crab, the ongoing tries never failed. From the moment we booked and arrived the host was easy to communicate with. The house and guest house were just as described. Every little touch was perfect. Exceeded my usual expectations from rentals. The extra towels, beach towels, outdoor furniture, kitchen supplies, were all readily there. Though the town didnt offer much, and the closest decent grocery store was 25 minutes away (stated in booking) we loved the old town feel. Jeffs market country store, reedville market for dinner, leadbellys for snacks, and town of irvington for a brewery visit, were all fun. Visisted a local fishing pier as well. If looking for an off the map, peaceful, tranquil, getaway, this is your stop! "

"My sister and our spouses and children got away from DC for a long weekend. This place is a piece of paradise. We had six people in our group which is the right size for this house. We were outside almost the entire time, trying to fish/crab off the dock, sitting at the firepit, or going for a row in the numerous kayaks, canoe or paddle boat. Very peaceful neighborhood and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Would highly recommended. Did not have any issues with the house and good communication with the owners. Well stocked kitchen. Full size W/D. Would love to see a hot tub for future visits. "

"Two of my friends and I stayed at this wonderful vacation spot. Beautiful views of the water. Spacious for the three of us. We enjoyed sitting outside either on the swings or in the Adirondack chairs on the pier. Even when it was chilly, we could enjoy the view from inside sitting at the dining room table, in the den and even from the kitchen. Comfortable beds and clean house. Would definitely return!"

"If you want to relax by the water and getaway from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. The cottage is updated and cozy with amazing views. Just step off the patio onto the sand. Cottage was stocked with essentials and extra goodies to make it feel like home."
