River's Reach offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway for working in peace or for 2-6 friends or family vacation. I just updated the Wi-Fi so it is not shared and it is strong for all your needs.

The pool (open May through mid-Sept, and heated then!) leads your eyes out to the beauty of the Little Wicomico River, where a dock, kayaks, fire pit, and crab traps await. The poolside deck has built-in benches for lounging, as well as a large outdoor table, and grill, providing ample gathering space for all. Sit out on the dock or lounge by the Fire Pit, where you can also roast S'Mores or Oysters that you purchase nearby. Fishing rods and 4 bikes are also provided. You will have 4 kayaks and the use of the dock by yourselves.

With two Queen-sized beds and a full bathroom on the Upper floor, and a Queen pullout sofa and full bath on the main floor, this Contemporary open-concept home, with soaring ceilings, skylights, and paddle fans is designed to provide comfort and easy living.

Well-behaved 4-legged family allowed!

There is a cozy fireplace if you are here during the holidays. This is the perfect spot from which to make memories as you explore all the Northern Neck has to offer, though post-pandemic some of these sites start closing during the week.

The property was just as described, very happy with our stay. Well kept home with a beautiful view. Well maintained and lite dock was fantastic, overlooking a protected cove with deep water. Would definitely recommend if your looking for some peace and quiet.

Nice. Quiet, Very secluded. Was hoping the dock would be good for swimming dogs but it was a little difficult to get down off and leash required. The pool was a little cloudy and debris filled but the owner did say it was a new pool pump. House was clean and well stocked. Overall very nice and relaxing.

Fabulous spot!
We had a beautiful stay at this very comfortable house! We had a blissful time enjoying the woods, the pool, the dock, and kayaking on the lovely Little Wicomico river! It’s a nice quiet spot, with tons of birdsong by day and starry skies at night. We made a fire in the pit every evening, and loved having every meal on the deck. The morning view from the master bedroom was just gorgeous! Allison was a very responsive and thoughtful host. We hope to return!

Beautiful place
We loved the infinity pool. River had too many jelly fish to swim in it but it didn’t matter because the pool was fantastic. Allison was very responsive to all of our questions. Kid loved it and so did we. We hope to be back !

River weekend
We had a good time over the weekend, especially enjoyed the infinity pool! Getting the kayaks in the water wasn't as easy as we thought it would be, but we were able to get it done. Allison was very responsive to my questions and was flexible when I thought we were going to have to change our dates. Very nice house in a beautiful location.

A break from virtual life
Our long weekend away from virtual everything was delightful! The setting is gorgeous and the access to the water, along with the kayaks, was a highlight of our time away. The hours spent reading by the pool with the waterfall feature helped everyone feel closer to "normal" again! Our family loved every minute of it.

Beautiful view and amazing pool
We really enjoyed our stay In this clean and well-maintained home. The pool overlooking the dock and river was heavenly. The view was top notch. Clean and roomy house was great for relaxing. It should be noted that the staircase leading up to the loft bedrooms was very steep and narrow and would not be easy to navigate for guests with any sort of mobility issues.

Quiet location
We loved our stay at Alison's place. It was quiet, remote, and peaceful. We mostly.fished and crabbed with minimal luck, but still enjoyed trying. The pool was warm and clean, we really enjoyed using it. My only suggestion would.be a more comfortable couch, but that is just my opinion. Allison was quick to respond to questions and gave a few points of interest in Reedville. We enjoyed eating at Horn Harbor.and browsing a few shops nearby. It was a great vacation in a beautiful home.

Lovely stay
We came in the second half of October and were bummed that the pool was no longer heated, but we still had a great time using the fire pit and the kayaks provided. Allison was very responsive to all of our questions. The staircase to the 2nd floor is as advertised - quite steep and a bit treacherous for small kids but we managed.

Hi, we had an awesome time,Allison was great to work with. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend. Only real issue was that the property is shared with the big house so you have two groups of people sharing the fire pit the kayaks so it’s not quite as private. It’s still a great place.

Amazing Pool and Dock!
We had a great time enjoying the outdoor amenities including the dock, kayaks, and the amazing pool! The property was just as described and Allison was very responsive to any questions. The only note I would add is that many of the restaurants in the area are closed Monday through Wednesday so work that into your plan if you intend to taste the local fare. It’s the perfect location to unwind and reset. Thanks Allison!!

A quiet and peaceful place
Beautiful view with a great pool. TV didn’t connect for four days until we had a storm and heavy rain, although the owner did try to work with us via phone from Australia. Local restaurants are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so plan accordingly. Excellent seafood at Reedville Seafood Market Restaurant on Main Street.
