"Beautiful and comfortable getaway. Has everything you need and then some. They were easy and nice to communicate with. The River view is gorgeous from all the big windows and the dock is a fun addition. Great place to stay and relax or use as a home base to explore the coast. "

"Everything was good... size, beds, etc. Nice short walk to the beach & liked being able to see the ocean from upstairs."

"Lots of space (interior and exterior parking)for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. House is well appointed for a week stay. Only recommendation is upgrading the mattresses. "

The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were comfortable with soft linens.We had superb weather for January, sunny and of course cold but the sun on the deck in the afternoons actually tanned us! The house is on the colder side in the front but it was January. Bring your flannels and you'll be fine.The owner, Leslie, is great and answered any questions we had. "Overall stay was satisfactory. We were advised in advance the hot tub was not working and the property management team was very responsive with communications, and gave a small refund. However, it was disappointing because that was one of the reasons we booked it. The scenery was spectacular! Due to allowing pets, we were not surprised to find traces of pet hair but the sheets on the hideaway bed downstairs were dirty. "House is very clean and in a great location for dune access. Lots of space to park and we could've brought our 37 foot 5th wheel and larger side by side trailer and had plenty of parking. Owner/property manager was great to work with. Will definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed 4 nights at Whales Watch. We found the property clean, and VERY well equiped to cook or bake. We felt like we were in our own house. The location, just steps from Haceta Beach can't be beat, we could take a walk on the beach several times a day and totally exhaust our dogs. It is also located an easy drive a many coastal hikes and tourist sites to help fill the days when you want to be more active than beach combing. BUT the best is just relaxing at the property enjoying ocean...
