Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. "Pros: Really good communication from host. Decorated nicely. Log burner (extra charge if using hosts logs). Milk in fridge. 8 minutes drive to Beamish museum. 4 minutes drive to a really good play park and splash area, by the river. Comfy beds and bedding. The accommodation was really clean. Shower heats up quick, large shower head. Dog bowls and biscuit treats - nice extra. Cons: Oven was broken by previous guest (on request, host was really good at providing air fryers). "Fabulous stay in this unique folly! it was lovely to see the sea and horses from the windows each day and there was plenty of activities to keep the children entertained close by - especially finding sea glass treasure on the local beaches."

"I did a last minute booking as I was kicked out from the other inn having they over sold their rooms. Since the late booking, it hasn’t gone through the system, there was a trouble in checking in. Luckily, a male college join in later and helped me to sort out the issue and finally I got a room to stay! "
