Perfect for our group!

I have never stayed in such a well stocked rental and clean and kept up! The grill worked perfectly and the bay window was so nice to sit and watch the sunrise! It was quiet but great view of the river and close to the restaurant. Also close to the pool and other activities. Would absolutely stay again!

Fun stay, nice overall condo condition.

Very clean when we arrived. The condo layout is nice along with the deck overlooking the canyon. Could use a few more single-serving bowls.

We loved our stay at this place

Great mattresses, lovely layout and finishes, everything we needed in a compact, light, and airy space. We loved being able to step outside on the decks and look right down on the river. A big plus is that this place is located toward the top of the street where there is less traffic, and it's very quiet and private feeling. We absolutely loved our daily walks down to the river, as well as having passes provided so we could use the pool and hot tub at the Sports Center. The kitchen is just the right size and has all the equipment we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for girls weekend!!!

Absolutely amazing time!! This home was a perfect place to get away and relax. Truly enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck, listening to and watching the river, watching the stars disappear and the sky turn into a beautiful sunrise. Making breakfast in the very well equip kitchen, literally the kitchen had everything needed and then some. Comfy furnishings, perfect for movie night or drinks and conversations. Great DVD selection, something for everyone. Comfortable beds and great bedding. Powerful AC which was great with the hot weather. Easy access to pools and walking paths. Can't say enough about this place, it was PERFECT and we can't wait to book again.

Perfect getaway

House was beautiful and everything was in order. Loved the location to paths and the various resort centers you have access to. The view from the back deck is great, makes me want to return in the summer so I can drink my morning coffee out there and watch the Deschutes roll by. A few questions I did have, host was very responsive and helpful. Loved this place!

Our stay at Hawks Landing

We stayed at Hawks Landing for a few nights, and had a great time. The view off the back porch was the highlight of our stay. We loved relaxing with a book and listening to the river below from both the upstairs deck and the downstairs deck. You’re located close to the walking trail which brings you right along the river. Because the home is so close to the river and golf course we saw deer on a couple of occasions wandering through. The home was also close to the main outdoor pool, bike rentals, and several playgrounds. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and seasonings which was nice so we could cook our own meals when we thought that would be easier than taking our toddler out to eat. There are a lot of options for dining in town which we also took advantage of. Overall we had a great trip, we will definitely be returning in the future and would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a nice getaway at Eagle Crest.

Lovely Stay at Hawk’s Landing!

My husband and I had the best time at this cabin/home! I have been to the area before and none of my stays have been this cozy! The place was very clean, very quiet, and private. The bathroom is very impressive with an enormous jacuzzi tub. The living area came with some dvds to borrow which was perfect for the colder evenings in. It also has an incredible view of the river with easy access to the trail that runs along the side of it. We got to see the local wildlife enjoying it too! The best part is that it is far enough away from the busier parts of the resort so you don’t have random golf carts whizzing by BUT it is close enough to the activity centers to where we were able to jump into a game of racquetball in minutes. We absolutely recommend and we will certainly be back!

Redtail in Flight

This was a house that included all of the necessities and amenities that could be needed for a group up to 6 persons. The view was amazing, and it was so quiet that you could hear the birds calling in the middle of the night. The parking area is uphill from the front door, and is not handicapped accessible, for anyone who would require assistance. The beds were very comfortable. Within walking distance of the Eagle Crest facilities for sports, swimming and bike rental. The hiking trail along the Deschutes is just below the house. We would rent again if the icemaker is fixed in the freezer!!!

Comfy condo with a nice view

The condo offered a scenic view of the canyon and river. It was really nice to listen to the burbling noises of the river while sitting outside on the deck. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need to make meals, and the furniture, mattresses, bedding, and towels were of high quality. The owner did a nice job of labeling things to avoid any confusion, and there was a good visitor's book with helpful information on things to do and places to eat during your stay. The two bathrooms and kitchen were outdated, but that wasn't an issue for us since they were clean and functional. It should be noted this condo isn't conducive for people with mobility issues. There are 16 steps on the walkway downhill to enter the condo; there are a couple of large steps to enter the shower in the master bathroom; and there is a flight of stairs to get to the master bedroom. It was a little inconvenient to transport our bicycles up and down the walkway every time we wanted to take a bike ride. The condo appears to be located in a quieter section of the large complex (fewer renters) so that was appreciated.

Sadly dissappointed

Eagle Crest has always been our favorite destination and the river view units never disappoint until this year. Sadly this unit with all the beautiful pictures on your website is in need of an update and DEEP cleaning. I am attaching pictures to more fully help you understand why we were so disappointed with our stay. Broken blind slats, dirty bed coverings, filthy fridge grid, spiderwebs on air returns, dirty picture windows, linens that need to be replaced, dirty carpets, an ice maker that didn’t work, and a dryer that wasn’t working efficiently even though we did a very small load. So embarrassing to talk up Eagle Crest river view to our friends and then find the situation we did. Nonetheless the views, property amenities, and ambience of Eagle Crest is magical, but this unit was a huge disappointment and hope the owner can take steps to make changes or better yet refund some of our money as it was not very pleasant.

Great Location

Wonderful property. Very clean and well stocked with things you may need in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Our group included two adults, a 9 year old, and a 2 month old baby. We had a great time. In the home, we enjoyed the patio, inside lounge, board games, and the upstairs jacuzzi. The kitchen literally has everything you could possibly imagine in a rental - coffee makers, French press, waffle iron, toaster, etc. etc. If you’re going when the weather is hot, the upstairs bedroom does not get cold by the AC. The weather was unusually high when we went though and in the upper 90s. On the property, there were lots of kids at the outdoor pools and plenty of outdoor activity rentals. The passes you borrow with the rental were good for almost all lodge activities for every day you’re there (not single use like we thought). Four of the six passes were missing when we arrived and it was a major pain to try and figure out how to get temporary ones..hence the 4 star review. Other than that, just remember most of the information you need is on the guest portal. It has its own drop down. We were searching the property for things like the WiFi password and where the outside garbage cans were. Oops!

Spectacular View & Quiet Location

Love the spectacular location. We have stayed in several Eagle Crest units over the years. Pride of ownership is apparent in this unit due the care taken with original woodwork still in excellent condition. There are very few signs of wear and tear. The living room gas fireplace and well maintained wraparound woodwork and wet bar provide a warm cozy atmosphere. Owners have added upgrades to tile in unique raised bath shower area to ensure safety, which is needed and greatly appreciated. The new massive ceiling fan in the primary bedroom is so relaxing. Once on the deck, the sweeping views across the canyon and the sound of the creek below sets the tone for one of the most relaxing vacation venues I have had the opportunity to enjoy. Convenient access to walking trails bring you even closer to the river and abundant wildlife. To be fair, the ratings would have been 5 -star across the board with the exception of several obvious housekeeping oversights related to an unclean sink, dirty windows and mirrors which detracted from the million dollar view. It was unexpected because many less obvious locations showed above average care. The cleaning score would have been lower were it not for housekeeping being very responsive to the concerns and offer to sent someone to make corrections. But we declined the offer because we did not want any interruptions. The unit (especially the kitchen) was very well equipped and clean. I hope this review does not lead to additional reservations by others because I hope this unit remains available to us in the future!

Great place with a few service issues

This unit is in a great location, with a beautiful view of the river from the back deck, and a tree that provides much needed shade in the morning. It's mostly quiet and private. The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes and supplies. The owners have purchased a new washer/dryer since our last stay, and they work great, as do the new ceiling fans in each bedroom. We experienced some cleanliness issues and had to clean some pots, dishes, and sheets during our stay. That is likely because prior guests didn't follow checkout instructions and the cleaning crew didn't check during the transition. Also, we were only left with two rolls of toilet paper for our 9-day stay, And when I requested additional rolls I was informed they don't provide "extra" supplies. I was asking for basic supplies, not extra. That response was disappointing, but overall it was a great visit to beautiful Eagle Crest resort. *Anyone with mobility issues should be aware there's a long row of steps down to the unit, so this is not a good place for those with challenges.
