Pros: Photos don’t do this property justice! It was clean, spacious, & had all the essentials: comfortable seating, multiple rooms and beds, two bathrooms stocked with toiletries, pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, stove, fridge, TV, & microwave. Location, once familiar, is easy to access w/ ample parking behind a secure gate. Noise was minimal, even on a Saturday night—just the occasional bark from a nearby dog. There’s also an outdoor BBQ available. Despite the neighborhood’s initial appearance, we felt safe throughout our stay. It served its purpose well, & the price was excellent!
Things to Work On: A few minor issues: clearer parking instructions are needed, as the suggested spot is marked "No Parking." We were asked to take out the garbage, but the bin wasn’t visible, so we left it bagged by the door. The microwave was tricky to use and didn’t seem to work properly. Clear directions for appliances like the stove, TV, microwave, A/C, and shower would be helpful. The entrance code system was confusing at first, as the entry pad isn’t immediately obvious. Once we figured it out, it worked well, & it’s a clever, secure system. The ice machine wasn’t working or stocked, which wasn’t a big deal. Large sealed crack above the kitchen, likely from an earthquake, which was a bit odd. We couldn’t find the fire extinguisher listed as being by the kitchen door. Emergency exit plan & local emergency contact would be a great addition. Guest book & welcome items like popcorn or coffee.
