Ranch home on 3 acres in city limits. Approximately 20 minutes from the lakes.
Our home sits on approximately 3 acres in the City of Redding and has rustic charm. You will have lots of privacy, yet minutes from town. We are located approximately one mile from Bethel Church and Simpson College. There is a private gated parking area which has plenty of room for boats and large vehicles. We have a pool that was recently resurfaced in March 2022. It is located in the back yard with a large deck and patio. The property is fenced for livestock but not fenced for small animals. We do have a 10 x 5 shaded kennel for your convenience. Our property is easy access to Interstate-5 and Hwy 299 to travel to Lake Shasta and Whiskey Town Lake. We are approximately 5 to 7 minutes from The Sundial Bridge, Turtle Bay museum, and the Sacramento River Trail. Our home is great for families, couples, and business travelers. We do have video cameras that are located in the driveway and the carport.

The house was clean, centrally located, and perfect for our family. The property manager was quick to respond and very accommodating with our request for an early check in.
This home was very clean and comfortable for our Redding visit. It's pet friendly and our dog found a nice cool area to plant herself. The home was very comfortable with everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the patio and by the pool. The back looks out to open area which is very nice.
Meticulously clean, cowboy themed ranch home on acreage. Three of us (with our 2 dogs) rented this for the weekend. Plenty of room for all of us, & updated, spacious kitchen perfect for cooking at home. The host always picked up immediately if called. Sitting by the pool at sunset was divine!

It was a wonderful stay
It was absolutely a great stay everything we needed was there. Ginger was terrific to work with.rhe home was very clean and peaceful hard to believe still in the city I'm 5 minutes from shopping I felt like you're out in the country. This is my 4th vacation rental home and this is probably my best experience ever
Perfect spot to relax with the family and swim. Kids loved the pool, catching lizards and tadpoles. Great big property, even a place to play soccer and frisbee!
Ginger is extremely responsive. Home was great for my party who was traveling with boats to enjoy lake Shasta. Plenty of parking , nice pool. We felt very secure on the property.
This was the perfect spot for our family to be together! The pool is big and slide is a blast! The patio area was great for relaxing. We were so close to town, shasta lake, waterworks park. Our vacation was fun and easy! House had everything we needed!
This property and the manager (Ginger) are truly awesome. Anytime we have a question Ginger answers immediately. The house has all the comforts of home, including plenty of towels, bed linens and amenities like shampoo, and lotion. The kitchen is fully stocked and even has sharp knives! We love this place and can’t wait to go again in a month.

A short visit in Redding
The house was OK for our family. Basic rustic facilities. The pool was not clean enough to use because of many bats and birds. We enjoyed the peacefull surrounding but from my comparative experience it was a little overpriced
The propery was beautiful! We saw deer in the field behind the house in the evenings. The pool was a blessing, even on some cooler summer days.
The house was exactly as expected. Our host was responsive to some minor issues and aware of things we hadn't noticed.
We really enjoyed our stay in this charming country home. Ginger is a great host who is very responsive and helpful. We especially enjoyed the pool and back patio area. We ate every meal poolside and swam every day. It was great for keeping my teens off their screens. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great home in Redding
The home was great and accommodating for our group. The rooms were well furnished and the kitchen area had everything we needed to make meals. Ginger was very hospitable and helpful, she's a great host. The only issue we had was that there were not enough trash bags and paper towels for the entire weekend. Still, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
The property is Beautiful. The home is very cozy, welcoming, comfortable and open. Beds are comfortable (which is kinda rare). Same with the couch and outside seating. So much room inside and out. The cleanliness was spot on. Zero complaints. The linen smelt fresh and clean. Outside furniture was just as clean. Host was very quick on response with questions that came up. Close to gas station , food and shopping centers. No more then 5 minutes away for anything!! Will definitely be planning another trip just to enjoy this country living home!!
The house was clean and the area was quiet. It was a convenient takeoff point to attractions in the area. It is an older home with even older appearing buildings on the property. The reason I rented a house vs a motel was to have a safe area to let my dog out. Other than a outdoor kennel the back was not completely fenced so my dog always had to be on a leash which was disappointing.
Our host made everything easy for check in. We were even able to get in a couple hours early, which really helped because we were ready to relax after traveling.
The place is very clean and detailed very well . It is rustic in the sense that it reminds me of my grandparents place. A '60s or '70s country vibe with shabby chic updates. The exterior is cool Western ranch, Ghost Town . Just perfect for our family and two large dogs
Loved the jet bath tub. All the beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Lots of room indoors and out, and secluded location without close neighbors. Too cold to use the swimming pool but maybe next time.
The host really does a good job all around. Makes for a good stay🙂

Perfect Home That's Quiet And Convenient
This is a great little ranch just far enough away that you feel like you’re out in the country while close enough to the city to be convenient. 10-15 min from Redding restaurants and sights. Minutes away from Highway 5. It’s a great home for vacation with plenty of amenities and perfect for kids who want to run around outside. Rooms are big and beds comfortable. Nice common area with comfortable couches and the kitchen has what you need to make meals.
The back yard is a great space with a pool and covered patio and beyond that is an open field. We were there in the winter but will definitely enjoy the pool and the yard more when we come back in the summer. The kids had a great time running around exploring the yard every morning.
Ginger was a terrific host who was always quick to respond. I know she would have been there if we needed any help with the house.
It was a perfect stay and we can’t wait to go back.
Charming Ranch House Perfect for Our Furry Family Member
Since I had been to Redding a few years before, I was looking for a place that allowed us to take our German Shepherd along with another family. The vast space for my dog to explore around the house as well as the pool were the main decision making points when we chose this great location ( and yes, the boys were in the pool with wet suits and neoprene socks to get into the water).
My husband is not much into exploring, so he enjoyed the quiet while everyone was out to explore nearby Whiskeytown NRA and Burney Falls. His only regret was not bringing his telescope, because the stars at night were beautiful to look at.
Ginger was very responsive for any questions and she figured out that there was a brief power outage in the neighborhood on the morning of the departure. The house stayed cozy warm the whole time thanks to gas heating.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your charming and super unique home. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to return one day.

Not For Aged
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't. The property itself was charming enough. But our ages, disabilities, the summer weather (HOT HOT!!) and the dated amenities did not make for a happy stay.
On a very positive note, Ginger (manager) was very accomodating and responsive to all our requests and questions. The grounds are expansive and the various out buildings felt as if we were in a quaint and lovely western-era ranch. The star amenity is the pool and covered BBQ area. Sparkling clean and cool water during one of the hottest summers on record-such relief!
Contrasted is the older and very soft (bottomless) couch in the living room was very uncomfortable for bad backs. Hard to rise from it too. The air conditioning in the living room just made the primary indoor environment worse, The portable unit was very noisy and blew warm. The swamp cooler was almost non-existent. Well over 80 degrees even at night was plain uncomfortable for our family.. The kitchen was very good. Well appointed. The master bedroom was our refuge because it was relatively cooler (72). However, the bed was too tall for my wife, but Ginger promptly brought a step stool that worked great. The bed frame was a knee-knocker as it stuck out sharply on the corners and we each had a few leg bruises. We learn to place extra pillows at each corner to soften the bumps. Another thing that family members had to learn was using toilets that hooked to septic system (Ginger to the rescue again). Neutral rating.
