Redding Retreat
Nice house in a nice neighborhood. Well appointed and scrupulously clean. The beds are very comfortable and the kids loved the video games. The living room is well-suited for conversation and the wifi coverage was very good. Justin, the owner, does an outstanding job of making you feel at home.

Complete disappointment
Prepaid for property over 2 months ago. Showed up close to midnight on day we were supposed to stay. There were people in the property . Messaged property management, had to go find hotel rooms at midnight. Ended up having to rent 2 hotel rooms for entire stay, costing us more money. Full refund was issued but apparently property was double booked.

Bonding trip
We took a bonding trip for our squad, there was enough room for all 14 to sleep in the living room. Rooms are a little tight just have one bed, but we managed everything, nice open kitchen room for everyone to walk around.

Property manager was extremely personable and assistive. However, the property lacked a great of what I have become accustomed to with VRBO, including working appliances, working amenities (tv), well stocked kitchen (pots and pans), comfortable furniture.

Has Potential
First of all the owner was very responsive and the area was very quiet. This is the first time I have left a not-so -good reference and I do not take this lightly. The kitchen looks good but was not very well equipped (only had 6 glasses and a plate setting for 6 with chips all over the dishes - not impressed). The couches were extremely uncomfortable - with a bar that runs down the middle which made it virtually impossible to lay down on. My advice is to spend a bit more money for a few comfy couches. The beds were equally uncomfortable. The beds are VERY firm. One of the mattresses where my son slept was so uncomfortable we looked and it was installed upside down. Again, for the price you are charging, you really should invest in more comfortable beds (at the very least for the master). In the master bath there was a plug that was not connected to the wall and is a def a hazard. Also, the sink faucet was not connected to the counter and moved about. The master shower is very nice and the bath/sink area is nice but you really need to fix these items. Some of the blinds were torn and looked terrible. Not that big of a deal - but there are no outdoor furniture except some randomly placed metal chairs. The basketball hoop game in the backyard worked but the support beams were broken and it constantly moved. We enjoyed playing the video games in the kitchen area. I think one of the most disturbing (and something I have not had an owner say to me ever) was the email I received where the owner was trying to give me a guilt trip about needing to give 5 stars and if I didn't I would somehow ruin his business. 1st of all that is not appropriate and 2nd of all we should all feel comfortable writing reports about any home so we can warn those that are about to stay these homes. Lastly, I do think this home can be a 5 star home. The owner needs to work a little bit more to make is safe and comfy.

Perfect home
I was so pleased with the home. Had enough space for our party of 11 and our dogs. The house was so spicy and our family had a blast. We were able to spend Christmas here and it’s was just beautiful. Being an hour to the snow was perfect. Definitely thinking about returning soon

The host double booked this property
We arrived mid evening and they were other people staying in this house. The host double booked this property. We were given an alternate property which was not remotely satisfactory. Do not book with this host or management company!

Perfect Stopover in Redding!
We drive through Redding a couple times a year on our way to/from the Pacific Northwest and San Diego. As a family of 6, we've struggled with finding a good stop for the night in Redding, which is the right location for an overnight break. We're so thankful we found this place! It was perfectly clean, comfortable, and so much fun for our kids. We appreciated the air conditioning, comfy beds, nice showers, and a quiet night of sleep before hitting the road again the next morning. The games were so much fun for the kids and it was pet friendly for our dog. Thank you for hosting us, we will definitely make this a regular stopping spot in the future! ?

Comfortable and Easy
I just wanted a place where all of us would have comfortable sleeping arrangements, decent area, and could bring my dog. This place met all our needs. No grass for the dog, but lots of yard space.

Great house!
There were so many things we loved about this house. The house is roomy and well taken care of. The beds were all clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the arcade games and giant connect four. I had the best communication from an owner that I've ever had. The backyard was beautiful, but a bit overdue for some gardening work and we wished there would have been some outside seating. Overall, this is still a 5 star house and one of the nicer VRBO's we've stayed at for a reasonable price.

Nice spot in Redding
Clean house as described and conveniently located to many grocery stores and highway. Games were fun for the kids and adults. Would definitely recommend. Constructive feedback as follows: -The back sliding door doesn’t have a functioning lock. There was a wood plank to keep the door from opening but would suggest fixing it -The house is a little sparse - could use a dresser or two and some basics like Saran Wrap or foil -Garage didn’t function though the hosts were super communicative and willing to send a repair man. Not a big deal but would be nice to be able to use as well.
