"Great place for a Thanksgiving weekend. We brought the food but the house had plenty of space and storage supplies. Setting lovely and very peaceful. The 6 of us could actually all sit together a beautiful table. "

"The house was exactly as pictured and excellent for the stay. The outdoor space was lovely for our wedding and everyone thought it was a great location/venue. Prior to the weekend communication was excellent but when it came time to actually being there, communication went downhill. A wedding can be high stress so having that happen was frustrating; however, the owner did get someone to come mow the outdoor event space on the day of the event and it gave us just enough time to finish decorating....

"This is the house that you always wish your family had - the cabin or farm house that everyone went to as a group gathering or as a small retreat. The gathering rooms are huge, the beds are soft, and there is just a great feeling of peace. This trip for us was a one-off, we went for a wedding in the area, but if we ever have need to stay in the Austin area and can stay an hour away, this is where we will go back to. Loved it."

"Really enjoyed are stay! great place and close to Smithville. Did a lot of driving and spent the night at the riverwalk, this place was great to come back too. If you want a real quite place look no further."

"Great house, the owners, Micheal/Leah had everything prepared when we arrived. We had 12 guys there for a golf tournament near by, Micheal even set up a small driving range for us off the back porch, a mini “Top Golf”. Beautiful property, especially at night with all the lights around the property."
