"Our stay was part of a family birthday weekend, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate and add to the occasion. Although less than ideal weather-wise, we enjoyed kite flying, whale and dolphin sightings, and the charming carousel. In addition, spa massage was an outstanding experience."

"We have ridden our bicycles down the Asbury boardwalk for years, and have always wanted to stay at the Berkeley. Its location and architecture are iconic, as is its history! So We stayed there many nights recently, knowing it’s off season. Of course the pool was closed, as was the restaurant. At least the sports bar was (sometimes) open and usually jumping. The staff was excellent, very helpful in many ways. Our room was worth the amazing views up and down the shore! Walking around the boardwalk...

"In pretty good shape for her age, the venerable Empress is centrally located for beach and boardwalk. Catering to the LGBTQ communities this is a great place to stay for fun day and night. But don’t go for a peaceful nights sleep… when Paradise nightclub is open the entire building vibrates — literally!"
