Beautiful and quiet location
We enjoyed our stay very much. As city people we could enjoy the peace and seclusion very much. The house has everything you need and the location overlooking the sea is outstanding. We will be very happy to come back!

A little drop of paradise
Having not been to Sicily before we had no idea what to expect and the place wasn't the easiest to find, however Tommas was fantastically helpful and showed us to the villa from town. On arrival, the place was breathtaking. The villa ticked all the boxes, clean, well maintained and covering all our basic needs with plenty of space for 4 adults or more. The views were beautiful and relaxing with plenty of private outdoor space including roof terrace and patio. The only real drawback was the long walk down to the beach down a steep hill and awkward terrain, which wouldn't have been easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues, however the walk was well worth it with a secluded private beach, which you won't want to leave. The town of Siculiana is a short drive away and although we visited in October when a lot of places eg. Bars/restaurants etc are closed, we made regular visits to the local grocery shop to stock up on essentials and there were a few decent pizzerias. We can't wait to return now that we have a better knowledge of the area and know what to be prepared for to make the stay even better. Throughout our stay, Tommas (owner) was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible - we couldn't have asked for any more. A beautiful escape and probably the first holiday I've ever been able to totally relax and forget about the rest of the world.

Our stay in villa by the sea
Well, to start off we are American (65) and I sometime my expectations are higher than they should be. First off was the private gate, you had to exit the car to enter a code to open the gate. You also had to exit the car to enter a code to leave but the code box was at ground level. When it rained you had no choice but get wet. The driveway was on a steep slope also. The exterior of the property had abandoned vehicle and appliance, unmaintained grounds. The bathroom shower had mold around the bottom corners. The property also was approximately two miles off the main road through small narrow roads that seemed unmaintained. No phone service ( I believe because we were on the back side of a large hill down near the ocean, blocking signal). Not their fought. Couldn’t get wi-fi even after owner came to check it out. So, we had to get in the car and go to top of hill to get online to schedule any tours. The villa does have a great view, clean rooms other than bathroom shower. So, for the reasons listed I couldn’t give it more than a two star. If I can figure out how to upload pictures I’ll post some.

Beste ruhige Lage hoch über dem Meer
Traumhafter Ausblick aufs Meer von allen Zimmern, der Terrasse und der Dachterrasse. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Strandbucht ist wunderschön; der schönste Strand, den wir auf Sizilien gesehen haben. Das Wasser geht sehr flach rein, super zum Plantschen. Der Weg dorthin ist steil, aber selbst mit unserer 4-Jährigen war er machbar. Steile Anfahrt. Einkaufsläden 10 min entfernt. Perfekt, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Der einzige Grund, warum wir einen Stern abziehen, ist, dass wir erst nach der Buchung erfahren haben, dass noch recht hohe Nebenkosten für Strom, Handtücher, Bettwäsche dazukommen (bei uns 285€). Trotzdem würden wir gerne wieder zurückkommen!

Traumhafter Meerblick
Fantastische Aussicht vor allem aufs Meer und Strand, aber auch Berg mit Turm. Auch wenn noch wenige Häuser in der Nähe sind fühlt es sich an wie Alleinlage, total idyllisch und entspannt. Da wir die Ruhe lieben haben wir uns schnell sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terrasse samt Mobiliar bietet sehr viel Platz zum Relaxen und der Sonnenschutz auch für Mahlzeiten genug Schatten. Die schöne private Badebucht mit Sandstrand ist über einen steilen Weg zu erreichen, wir waren an den meisten Tagen alleine. Der Rückweg ist zwar anstrengend, aber wir haben uns über die sportliche Einheit gefreut, zumal es im September nicht mehr so heiß war. Der offizielle Strand Pergole ist in wenigen Minuten mit mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß in 25 Minuten zu erreichen. Den Strand fanden wir schön und auch im etwas gehobenen Restaurant waren wir sowohl mit dem Service als auch mit Essen und Wein sehr zufrieden. Auch alle Strände die wir in der näheren Umgebung mit dem Auto besucht haben waren sehr schön und durch die Nachsaison nicht überlaufen. Im Haus ist alles zweckmäßig und praktisch eingerichtet, wir haben alles gefunden was wir gebraucht haben. Alleine schon wegen der wundervollen Lage werden wir gerne wieder an diesen Ort kommen.

Meer zum Sattsehen
Was für ein atemberaubender Ort: Fast 180 Grad Meerblick. Ein alter Turm auf dem Hügel. Einen Strand mit klarem Wasser unter dem Haus. Ein leckeres Fischrestaurant um die Ecke. Ein gemütliches und sehr sauberes Haus. Es fehlt an nichts. Und nicht zuletzt: sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die sogar mit einer Flasche Wein überraschen. Jederzeit wieder!

A lovely home beautiful views and close to most things you want to see.
If you are traveling with teenagers rent the bigger house. We had the one that slept 4 but it would be tight fit for more that 2 adults and 2 little kids. This place is great we loved it. Get satnav to find it.

Einfach nur TRAUMHAFT
Unglaublich schöner Ort! Fantastische Aussicht, sehr ruhig und super relaxed mit ganz viel Privatsphäre. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht und ist sehr gut ausgerüstet. Der Privatstrand ist in ca. 5 Min zu Fuss erreichbar. Schöne kleine Badebucht mit Sandstrand. Nach dem Baden ist eine praktische Aussendusche vorhanden. Sehr freundliche, angenehme und hilfsbereite Eigentümerfamilie. Ein Geheimtipp und in höchstem Masse zu empfehlen!!!

Wunderbare Aussicht
Der Blick auf das blau-türkise Meer war wunderbar. Wenn man allerdings zum Strand hinunter wollte, konnte man entweder einen steilen Weg durch die Felsen nehmen oder die geteerte Straße (bei Wärme kein Vergnügen). Das Haus liegt idyllisch, aber eben auch einsam. Wer abends noch bummeln möchte, ist eher am falschen Ort, da es in der direkten Umgebung nichts diesbezügliches gibt und die steile Zufahrt im Dunkeln wahrscheinlich kein Vergnügen ist. Die Kücheneinrichtung bedarf absolut der Verbesserung: Es gab nur zwei große Tassen, die man für sein Müsli benutzen konnte (keine Schalen vorhanden), dann konnte man aber seinen Tee o. ä. nur aus kleinen Espresso-Tassen trinken ... Insofern war die Spülmaschine völlig überflüssig. Eine der Terrassentüren konnte man während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht verschließen, dies sollte aber bald repariert werden, sagte man uns.

Lovely House with a beautiful view of the sea
Perfect House for a small family. Beautiful view with, clean an quiet. You Can Walk Down to the Beach below - our kids of 9 and 11 had no problems with the path. There are several beaches near by if you ho by car. We hope to return to the House. The communication with Tomasso and Mauro went smooth.

Haus mit Meerblick
Haus mit Meerblick in ruhiger Lage. Ein steiler Pfad oder eine kleine Straße führt zum Meer und einem schönen Strand. Man braucht allerdings unbedingt ein Auto, da die nächste Ortschaft über sehr kleine Straßen etwa 7 km entfernt ist. Netter Vermieter gibt gute Tipps.

Traumhafte Ferien am Meer
Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in wunderschöner Umgebung. Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Gegend ist traumhaft schön und bietet sehr schöne Ausflugsziel. Auto notwendig. Man kann sich hier wenn man will ungestört erholen. Haus, Terrasse, Aussicht, Meer, Dachterrasse, Umgebung,... Unvergesslich schön!

Schönes Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht
Das Ferienhaus hat eine traumhaften Lage und einen top Ausblick. Haus, Terrasse und Garten hat alles was wir für diesen Urlaub benötigten, alles war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Extra-Kosten für Reinigung, Bettwäsche/Handtücher und Strom werden erst im Verlauf des Buchungsvorgangs erwähnt und beim Check-In in bar bezahlt. Der Strom wird pauschal und nicht nach Verbrauch anhand eines Zählers berechnet. Der Weg zum schönen Strand ist eher steil, gut machbar und eine Verbesserung wäre das tüpfchen aufs i. Die Lage zu den umliegenden Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten ist super. Wir haben die Woche in dieser Oase sehr genossen und würden dieses Objekt sofort wieder mieten. Danke an den Besitzer.

Schönes Ferienhaus
Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit einem schönen Ausblick aufs mehr und wir müssen ehrlich zugeben mit einer der schönsten Bucht die wir auf Sizilien gesehen haben…!!!!!! Zum Haus selbst gibt es nichts zu bemängeln, alles war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das einzige was nicht so toll war, es gab überhaupt kein Gewürz in der Küche das fanden wir bisschen schade. Der Weg zum Wunderschönen Strand ist etwas steil, festes Schuhwerk ist empfehlenswert aber selbst unsere 5 jähriger Tochter hat es prima gemeistert :) Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen dort verbracht und würden wieder kommen so sehr hat es uns es dort gefallen. Vielen Dank für den Schönen Urlaub!!!!!

Une maison magnifique pleine mer.
La villa de Tomaso est exceptionnellement bien située dans un environnement splendide et calme. La terrasse et le roof top dominent la mer à 180 Degrés. Toutes les pièces bénéficient de l’air conditionné. La literie est très confortable et rien ne manque dans la maison qui est d’une propreté irréprochable.Tomaso est trésor sympathique et disponible pour répondre à chaque question et pour donner de bonnes adresses. Nous reviendrons un jour dans ce bel endroit. Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui aiment le calme et la beauté. .Encore merci à Tomaso pour cette semaine idyllique.

Haus zum Träumen!
Das Haus ist wirklich traumhaft gelegen, auf einem Plateau mit Rundumsicht über das Meer. Der Abstieg beginnt direkt dem Grundstück ist nur mit festen Schuhen gefahrlos zu gehen. Da der feinsandige, flach abfallende Sandstrand nur zu Fuß oder per Boot zu erreichen ist, war es dort auch fast immer leer. Man kann im ca. hüfthohen Wasser um eine Klippe laufen und kommt zu einem anderen Strand (Paradiesstrand), der viel belebter ist, da ein Parkplatz angeschlossen ist. Uns hat es dort nur hingezogen, da es dort eine kleine Hütte mit Snacks und Cocktails gibt, die wir mal probieren wollten. Das Haus ist durch die Ausrichtung schön hell und man hat alles was man braucht. Spülmaschine, Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine und Wlan funktionierten 1a. Es kommen noch Extra-Kosten für Reinigung, Bettzeug und Strom dazu, die erst im Laufe des Buchungsvorgangs angezeigt und beim Check-In in bar bezahlt werden. Es war noch etwas Olivenöl da, sonst keine Gewürze o.ä. Nicht schlimm, nur gut zu wissen. Wir haben uns ein Moskitonetz über das Bett gehangen und an der Lampe befestigt. So konnten wir gut mit offenem Fenster schlafen und das Meeresrauschen genießen. Mückenspray ist ab späten Nachmittag sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns den Weg vorher in StreetView angesehen. Das war auch gut so, denn die Adresse kannte das Navi nicht. Die Besucher der Nachbarhäuser konnte man zwar hören aber es hat nicht gestört, denn die hohen Hecken halten einiges ab. Für ruhesuchende Urlauber absolut geeignet.
