This is the place for a one of a kind stay! Our apartment is a newly remodeled apartment in an original factory building. We offer modern Scandinavian decor, the convenience of smart locks, window blinds, robot vacuum, lighting, and High speed WIFi up to 1 GBPS! Also a 4k UHD 50 inch TV with Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney Plus. 2 King Gel Memory Foam 14-Inch hypoallergenic Mattresses. And a Keurig Special Edition coffee maker for expressos, americanos, or other milk creations!
The space
Although this is an apartment in a larger building, the rest of the building is still being remodeled and you will not be interacting with other guests. We designed this apartment to be open, welcoming, and trendy! Light streams in the huge windows during the day, and custom touches like the exposed brick and original flooring remind you of the factory that this building was. There is not off street parking, but our street often has parking, and there is a school across the street who’s parking lot can be used during the off hours. You will not have access to the rest of the building.

We are very pleased to now offer a 2021 Tesla model Y rental in conjuncture with your stay! If you book this vehicle it comes with free indoor parking and 100% free supercharging at public chargers and free high speed overnight charging. So you will not have any fuel expenses at all! Please message me prior to your stay to check availability and then after you book I will coordinate with you for your discount to rent it on Turo.

If you are flying into Philadelphia airport we may be able to either pick you up at the airport or arrange delivery of the car at the terminal, depending on our schedule $125 each way.

We offer discounts for combined stay and car rent. And discounts for longer stays.

We do live in the city so there could be some related noises, to assist you we offer complimentary earplugs and a sound machine. But overall it is fairly quiet. Also we have a zero tolerance policy on parties. Only the people mentioned on the reservation may enter.

Historic factory Gem
We had a fabulous stay at this unique property! I was very impressed from the moment we walked in. Charles has really thought about every amenity that one may need when traveling. My 6 year old adored the piano and the Macrame swinging hammock chair! I loved having Alexa right there too! Yummy local coffee and other treats were provided with many breakfast options. Beds were very comfortable! The bathroom was one of my favorite features along with the lighting and shades. I highly recommend! Close to many attractions.

An oasis in the city
This place is a gem. Stylish and upscale, this has been our favorite VRBO location. The apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable. The modern boho vibe was delightful. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The host even gave us snacks, breakfast and plenty of coffee, tea and bottled water. Overall, this is a sweet spot. If you’re staying in Reading, this is the place to stay.

Beautifully restored old factory apartment!
Charles, our host, renovated the apartment himself, and we were amazed by his skill and taste! He found a perfect balance between retaining the style of the factory and making the apartment comfortable, modern, and artistic. He was also very responsive to our questions and requests and generous as a host. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of family-friendly foods for us to eat. My 11-year-old son loved the food and the piano, which he played for hours. We are now planning to return with more family!
