"A lovely old building with uneven floors and stairs that made walking around funny! Room was comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice as was the owner. No complaints, except perhaps the limited ale/beer - could have had more variety of Hobson or other local breweries than lager/cider which meant we only stayed for one pint, before finding a pub that had beer we enjoyed. Shame really as it was a lovely old pub"

Excellent breakfast and relaxing vibe

"Warm welcome with numerous offers of tea and biscuits. Lovely comfortable room with everything we needed, plus an array of books and magazines. Our breakfast was probably one of the best we've had at a b&b - choice, quality and presentation was excellent. We also had the best view onto the garden, watching wild birds feed, and farm animals stretching their legs and voices! The host gave us fabulous recommendations for our evening meal which did not disappoint."

Modern Cabin in Heart of Shropshire Countryside

Excellent short break to Shropshire area

"Accommodation was excellent and communication second to none. Location has plenty to see and do and quite varied. Also plenty of National Trust places to visit. All in all a very pleasant break."

"Lovely Stay in Drake Cottage. Your accommodation is good value for money and Furnished to a high standard. Myself and Laura was grateful for the homemade valentines cookie. We didn’t need to see Anyone as we knew the check in and other procedures from visiting in October 2020 and July 2021. Hope to be back again soon"

Lovely quiet location.

"We arrived in the dark which was not ideal as it was small country roads, but once we arrived getting into the cottage was easy. The view is fantastic and there is a few nice walks down by the river. Although overflowed we couldn't go as far as we would of liked, it was still a nice walk. West Midlands Safari Park was easy to get to and was a great day out. Would love to come back for a longer stay to explore the area more. Internet was not very good in the house, but in the back garden it worked great. But, you come here to get away from the craziness of town life."
